My wife and I are starting counseling today - please, keep us in your prayers - I want to save this marriage.

You will both be in my prayers for the Lord’s blesings as you work through whatever bump in the road you have encountered and that you will come out of this counseling with a renewed and lasting strength and commitment and that your love for each other will defeat all challenges.

An update - our first session went well - we’re seeing a Christian based counselor - he was very positive about the attitudes we displayed in the session. He asked where we were on a scale of 1-10 as far as our commitment to saving the marriage. My answer was 10 - my wife was a 5 - which to me is a building point. Our next session is next Friday. I sincerely appreciate the prayers - I know we can get through this thing.
May Mary Ever Virgin intercede with our Savior and may he reawaken in both of you what you first saw in each other. Amen.

If I may make one suggestion. Buy the movie called The Encounter with Bruce Marchiano. You and your wife will find it very interesting and there is a couple struggling in the movie probably just as you are. You will not regret watching it.
