2The same was in the beginning with God.
3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
6There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
7The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
8He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
9That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
10He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
Well, I guess that’s one interpretation.
I got bad news for ya’.
The rapture done came and you’re stuck here with me.
Ha, we will see.
Can i have your BMW?
Search the Scriptures Clara and remember to open your mind to this Scripture verse,
II Timothy 3:
...persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.
12Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
13But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
14But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
15And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
OK, What I need to know is, after the Rapture will I still be able to get Pizza and Szechuan take out?
No where in the Bible does it say Anti Christ or the Beast is going to come from Europe.
In fact, I think this is deceiving. The more that things happen, makes me believe the Anti Christ will be a Muslim.
Some even say a Kenyan!
The scriptures do NOT support anyone being removed before the tribulation. We will be sanctified and protected during that time but when Christ truly returns (trumps, all eyes see Him, etc) He will rapture us and immediately destroy the earth. Read 2 Peter 3...He comes like a thief in the night and the elements melt with a fervent heat, etc
No one lives upon his return; not for 5 minutes, not for 7 years.
(No where in the Bible does it say Anti Christ or the Beast is going to come from Europe.)
That is true, DJP is reading between the lines, but the Scriptures indicate two things concerning the anti Christ’s location. One, he will rule over a ten nation confederacy that will rise from the ruins of old Rome, probably in Europe therefore. Two, he will be descended from the tribe of Dan most probably as this evil one will not worship the God of his forefathers, God being Elohim, the name of the trinity of the God of Israel.
Sort of right. The important part: die in a state of grace, let God take care of the rest. No rapture. At the Second Coming, it’s “Everyone out of the pool.” The Four Last Things: Death, Judgement, Heaven, and Hell. I’ll happily pray for all of you, and I hope that you’ll pray for me.
Nothing is more important in life than Our Lord.
Whether you agree with me on the rest of what I’ve written, I do hope you’ll agree with that last one.
Friend, God will give you the grace you need to endure the coming tribulation. You aint gettin’ out of it!
In fact, the only book of Scripture that uses the term "Antichrist," 1 John, says that there are "many Antichrists even now" (1 Jn 2:18). That was almost 2000 years ago! Second Thessalonians 2 speaks of a "man of sin," but does not use the term "Antichrist," nor does it say anything about him coming from Europe.
Tradition dating back to the early Church Fathers speaks of a final Antichrist preceding the second Coming, but it's not there on the surface of the Scriptural texts.
This is a new concept that was conceived by John Darby in the early 1800’s. Funny how such a “major” happening was never taught to early christians until the early 19th century.
“will I still be able to get Pizza “
OF course. You didn’t think those pizza delivery stunt drivers were going anywhere did ya?
I call dibs on his garden tractor and his Johnny Walker.
You might have the power to think those things into being but you may also find that in the light of God’s glory, you’ll have no more desire for them.
I am VERY concerned about the prevalence of the teaching of this erroneous doctrine. Without intent to insult anyone, I believe this teaching is directly from the enemy as the result of it will keep people unprepared as we enter unbelievably bad times and will be forced to accept the mark of the beast just to survive. I believe this is represented in the parable of the 10 virgins, 5 of which had enough oil and the other 5 didn’t. The 5 without enough oil (provisions) expected Christ to come earlier than He was.
My family just left our church last week after 3 solid years of going twice on every Sunday because our preacher is teaching out of Revelations and believes in the early rapture. He told the congregation that he ‘wouldn’t necessarily call us heretics for not believing that, but that we’re ‘dead wrong”. It is causing us quite a bit of consternation but we don’t believe we should attend a church that believes such WRONG doctrine. It’s frightening.
Very good. Darby frequently consumed large bowls of:
