i was going to post this same chapter to you.
stay with me now, let’s look at this logically.
we know from various passages only those in Christ will be saved. no salvation outside of the Body of Christ. hopefully we can all agree on that.
now, we also know the Church is the Body of Christ, again hopefully we can all agree on that.
now, Romans 11:26 says and so all Israel shall be saved.
see a pattern yet?
Body of Christ = all that shall be saved = the Church = Israel
we know all corporate Israel ( Jewish DNA ) will not be saved, Jesus Himself said as much in John when He told them unless they believed that I am He ( John 8:24 )
furthermore, Paul tells us earlier in Romans 2:29 who is the real Jew.
Galatians 6:11-16 tells us the Church is the Israel of God.
and finally Galatians 3:29 tells us if you are Christ’s, you are heirs to the promises made to Abraham.
it could not be any clearer, it is orthodox Christian doctrine. beware of this 19th century invention you seem to hold to.
Galations 6:15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. 16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.
Peace be on those for the circumcision and the uncercumcision. Then it separates out Israel. The church has NOT replaced Israel.
All other verses refer to the church as being grafted in. Anyone who believes the nonsense that the church has replace Israel has a rude awakening coming and it could be soon.
Verse 26 goes into PROPHECY. "as it is WRITTEN, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For THIS IS MY COVENANT UNTO THEM (ISRAEL), when I shall take away their sins."
When the period of grace, verse 25, has run its course, God will again resume His dealings with Israel and bring the PROPHETIC program to a conclusion, as verse 26,27 clearly say.
Prophecy deals directly with Israel and the nations, not with the body of Christ.
A Jew coming to salvation today comes as an individual, not a Nation of people, through the finished work of Christ and is placed into the body of Christ. Where there is neither Jew nor Greek. It is about individuals in this present age, not nations.
Far be it from ME to judge; but; this CLOSES the subject permanently as far as I’m concerned. I have no interest in debating with a bunch of Jehovah’s Witnesses, which I’m suspecting is what has been going on. Go rag on someone else. I’m not buying what you’re selling! Goodbye!
This is absurd...No one comes into the Body of Christ to get saved...Read what God says about it for a change...
AFTER one gets saved, he/she is automatically a member of the Body of Christ...And it ain't your religion...
The bible refers to us as the church...Your religion stole the name and modified it to (C)hurch trying to and obviously succeeding in duping you people...Buy a bible and read it...
