Thy Kingdom Come

If you want the will of God to be done in the earth you have your part to play. The entrance of earth into heaven is through Jesus, he said I am the door. But, the entrance of heaven into the earth is through you. By way of your spirit and mouth the will of God is loosed into the earth. Didn't Jesus say whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven (Matt. 18:18). Notice if something is going to be loosed from heaven someone has to loose it from earth first. Your heart has a door, Jesus said "Behold I stand at the door and knock" (Rev. 3:20). That door is the door of your heart. Not only that, but your mouth has a door, didn't David pray for God to set a watch at the door of his lips (Ps. 141:3). This is important because as we'll see we are the doorway(entrance) for heaven into the earth. God works through us by his word so if you are not in agreement with his word then God is limited in what He can do through us. Because it's the word that accomplishes (Isa. 55:11).

In the Lord's Prayer Jesus said pray "Thy kingdom come". Well the kingdom of God is within you (Luke 17:21). And the word of God is the word of the kingdom (Matt. 13:19). Notice in Mark 4 in the parable of the sower Jesus said, "The kingdom of God is if a man should cast seed into the ground" and that ground is your heart. And what is that seed, the word of God (Mark 4:14). The word of God should be producing for you. It should be producing the things of the kingdom-healing, deliverance, wholeness all the things of the kingdom of God. Notice in Romans 10:10 it says "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." There's 2 words in that verse we need to understand and they are confession and salvation. Confession in greek if you study it out means-to speak in agreement with (in this case God). And the word salvation in greek means-healing, deliverance, protection, wholeness. Notice with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. And where do your words come from, your heart or the kingdom of God within you (Matt. 15:18). Now you can see why Jesus said in Matthew 12:35, "A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things." When you speak out the things of God from his word from your heart then the kingdom of God within you produces the will of God in the earth.

In Isaiah 51:16 God said, "I have put my words in your mouth" and God doesn't do things for no good reason. What is the purpose of God putting his word in someones mouth? For you to speak it out so He will do it. In Isaiah 57:19 God said, "I create the fruit of the lips" so once again God's word creates his will in the earth as in the beginning. Understand God has blessed and honored man by giving him a place in establishing his will in the earth. So when you call for the will of God to be done(speak the will of God) you are opening the door for heaven(the will of God) to come into the earth. In Isaiah 55:11 it says "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereunto I sent it." God's word comes down from heaven, you put his word in your heart, speak it out of your mouth, and it accomplishes what God pleases. Heaven and earth are brought together through Christ (Eph. 1:10). And now he is the head and we are the body of Christ. The head and the body are one, the authority of heaven works in the earth through you (Eph. 1:22,23). His exceeding great power is toward us who believe (Eph. 1:19). Believe what? His word and when you believe his word you speak it (2Corinth. 4:13). So when you believe and speak his word then his exceeding great power is toward you. So I'm not just talking about speaking the word only, but believing the word and speaking it and the power that is behind it.

God always stands behind his word (Jer. 1:12). Let's see an example of the power behind your words when you believe them and speak them. In James 5:17 it says that Elias(Elijah) prayed earnestly that it might not rain and it rained not for 3 years and 6 months. Now let's look at what the Bible calls an earnest prayer, in 1Kings 17:1 Elijah decreed, "There shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word." Where did he get that from, the word. In Deuteronomy 11:16,17 it warns the people not to worship other gods lest God's wrath be kindled and He shut the heavens and there be no rain. What were the people doing when Elijah called for the rain to stop, worshipping other gods. Now do you see what Elijah did. Notice he had the word for what he spoke and God backed it up. God always backs up his word when it's spoken in faith. How do you get faith in your heart, by what you allow in your hearing. Put the word in your heart and speak it out of your mouth and it shall accomplish what God pleases.

You are also supposed to be quiet and have control over your tongue.
