Urgent Prayer Request for Our Dear FRiend, Yorkie. [Yorkie update at #877]

While in route to California on Tuesday Yorkie, Tiapam and Cardhu were in a horrible one car accident near Kingman, AZ.
Yorkie was airlifted to Las Vegas while two FReepers were called home. Cardhu and Tiapam died at the scene.

Tiapam has been a Freeper since December, 2009; Cardhu has been a Freeper since July, 2005. Please remember them in your prayers.

I talked to Yorkie tonight; she is in ICU with serious non-lifethreating injuries.
She has many broken and crushed bones on her right side. She will need lots of therapy and lots of prayers.

Please say a prayer for Tiapam's and Cardhu's families and friends.
Yorkie is in urgent need of prayers for both physical and emotional healing. She and Tiapam have been friends for 27 years.

Just devastating on top of the news of the passing of fellow Floridian, Major Stefan Cook, a courageous military man and a loyal Freeper.

Can you tell us about these three freepers involved in the accident....are they three friends, husband, wife and friend, or daughter?

How tragic for the families involve. May the Lord bless and keep them and afford them the solace of His loving embrace.

They are three friends. Yorkie and Tiapam have been friends for 27 years. Yorkie introduced Pam to FR and Amy’s Place. I think Pam lurked for a year or so before registering. Cardhu was visiting from Spain ... he was here on vacation. They were traveling from Sedona, AZ to Southern California to visit Yorkie’s son and her grandchildren.

The accident happened Tuesday afternoon; I was notified by a friend of Yorkie’s last night.

It will take time for Yorkie to heal emotionally. I plan to call her later and will post an update.

Appreciate the ping, even though it brings bad news.

Three of our better FReepers have been lost in the past few days, a fact made less sad only because we know they are in a better place and in loving hands.

Prayers that Yorkie, who is broken and hurt will quickly recover with the smallest possible amount of discomfort.

I sadly just found Stefan’s prayer thread, with the terrible news at the very end. God bless his soul.

We communicated many times .. I had no idea he was ill.
Such a huge loss, such a brave, brave man.

I’m so stunned and sad beyond belief.

So many dear FReepers leaving us so suddenly ... may they be standing guard, praying for us and our dear America.

God rest their souls in His joy and peaceful Heaven, and comfort the loving families and friends they leave behind, until they and we all meet again.
