You do not know the scriptures, apparently, especially Matthew. Every practice of the catholic church is condemned therein by Christ. The three that I noted are the most grievous ones, but there are many.

Nothing in any of the gospels describes creation of the church; the gospels were about the life and ministry of Christ. Paul was completely responsible for presenting all the practices of the real church, and aside from the remembrance of Christ’s crucifixion, and the baptism of the new believers after they were saved, it differed little from what they had studied all of their lives in Torah.
Paul is the PATTERN for anyone after him who believes on Christ's finished work.
"Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ." 1 Cor. 11:1.
"According to the GRACE of GOD WHICH IS GIVEN UNTO ME, as a wise MASTERBUILDER, I HAVE LAID THE FOUNDATION, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ." 1 Cor. 3:10-11.
And on it goes, Scripture after Scripture in the Book of Acts and Paul's writings. It could not be any clearer what Paul's commission was, the Church the Body of Christ. Not many people want to understand that, but it doesn't change the truth of it.

That's a fascinating take on the Gospels. Matthew in detail describes the creation of the Church. Paul on the other hand, describes how the Church was first launched in the most detail. Have you become a Paulian now instead of a Christian? How does that square with your beliefs?
