Media Research Center is right on when it says that the Post really should consider renaming Stevens-Arroyo’s blog “Liberal Democrat Catholic America,” just for the sake of truth in advertising.

Does MRC have any comments about including the word blog in the title of your blog?

Jesus would also support the Dallas Cowboys, the New York Yankees, Mountain Dew, BMWs, peanut butter, ice lake fishing, vitamin C, the Wall Street Journal, domineering women, French’s Mustard, and soft toilet paper.

People who sit around thinking about Jesus to this extent....probably haven’t stepped inside of a church in twenty years.

This guy apparently didn't get the email; religious arguments are irrelevant in public policy. Refer to contraception mandate vis a vis the Catholic church. Hello?

And I would wager that the same columnist would back up BH0’s point at the National Prayer Breakfast that Jesus also said that “You are your brother’s keeper.” And thus we much have that as part of the unification of church and state, except, of course, when it is advantageous to push for the separation of religion from any mention any where except inside state licensed churches.

jesus wasnt in politics—”AT ALL!!!”.(render unto ceaser the things that are ceasers and render unto god the things that are gods). If jesus wanted to heal someone, then he healed them- in several cases rose the dead..

Luke 12:13-21

[13] Someone in the crowd said to him, “Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me.”

[14] Jesus replied, “Man, who appointed me a judge or an arbiter between you?” [15] Then he said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; a man’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.”

[16] And he told them this parable: “The ground of a certain rich man produced a good crop. [17] He thought to himself, ‘What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.’

[18] “Then he said, ‘This is what I’ll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods. [19] And I’ll say to myself, “You have plenty of good things laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.” ‘

[20] “But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’

[21] “This is how it will be with anyone who stores up things for himself but is not rich toward God.”

I always check the WaPo for my religious beliefs.

How the eff would these liberal secularists know anything right about anything to do with the tenets of Christianity, much less have the gall to speak on behalf of Christ.

These people only say the name of Christ when they’re cursing about something.

The funny thing is that there are times when the apostles were confused about his future self-prophecies and believed, like many Jews at the time, that the messiah would come and set up a political kingdom (as they knew them then) and that would mark his triumph.

Hummmm, in my bible Jesus provides a bunch of healing and health care but never once suggested government mandated socialized medicine.

I guess in his scriptures there’s no separation of Caesar and Christ, and therefore charity can be compulsory.

Yeah. That’s why Jesus would have supported Stalin’s Soviet healthcare. Charity is all about government coercion, not free will or grace, that’s the real Christian message.

Nay say I. He most certainly would support Oldsmobile. Jesus walked on water. Ted Kennedy tried to show he could drive an Oldsmobile on water.....just a little more bourbon and faith Teddy.

I don’t think Jesus would be in favor of it.

He would much rather teach someone how to fish than to give them a fish.

So in the health mode, he would teach someone how to have and care for healthy children and not want them to get an abortion.

WaPo Blog Says Jesus Would Support Obamacare

It's not Jesus Christ who would support Obamacare, but the Antichrist. Of course, we already knew that.
