Ever since he began running for president in 2007, Barack Obama has been dogged by rumors that he's secretly a Muslim. Whether it's his exotic name and background, the color of his skin, or (most likely) some combination of the two, the Muslim lie just doesn't seem to go away.
Each time it has begun to fade from public discussion, the Muslim rumor has cropped up again, like it did last year when real estate tycoon Donald Trump, who was publicly weighing a presidential bid at the time, insisted he had evidence showing Obama wasn't born in the United States (and that his birth certificate might show that he's Muslim).
In response, the president eventually took the extraordinary step of releasing his long form birth ceritificate, which showed he was born in Hawaii as claimed. But a new Gallup poll finds that even now, a healthy chunk of Americans believe the rumor:
Just 34% of Americans correctly say U.S. President Barack Obama is a Christian, while 44% say they don't know Obama's religion and 11% say he is a Muslim.
Obama is a Christian and has labeled himself as such as in his writings and interviews, and while living in Chicago he attended the Trinity United Church of Christ. Since moving into the White House, Obama has attended several different Christian churches.
Americans are indeed more likely to say Obama is a Christian -- mostly a generic "Christian" or "Protestant" -- than to say he identifies with any other religion. In addition to those who name a specific religion or don't offer a guess, 8% say he does not have a religious affiliation...

The Won is not a Christian.
When asked who Jesus Christ was, his response was "a great teacher", not "the Son of God, sent to earth to atone for the sins of mankind".
A Christian would have answered some variation of the latter.
Might be because he was registered in an Indonesian school as a Muslim. Might be because he once said “My muslim religion”.. might be cause his daddy is a muslim.. might be a whole lot a things.

What Christian doesn’t share that belief?
As I have posited many times before, your upbringing has a lasting effect on you. I was raised by my grandmother and at a young age she had me attend a summer bible school. The lessons I learned in these bible classes still control much of my life.
Obama attended a Madras (Muslim equivalent to a Christian Bible school) and I’m sure that what he learned there is still controlling his life.
Don’t forget that crack about the Muslim call to prayer being “the most beautiful sound in the world”.
I can not understand how just 11% believe him to be muslim!
Or that they call that black liberation theologist Jerimiah Wright a “Christian”. All they have to do is research him and his associations an oops, up pops Farakhan...

The name he uses by choice is "Barack Hussein", which loosely translates to "commie, muslim, terrorist, anti-American scumbag from the bowels of Hell".
Obama’s not a Muslim. He’s not a Christian either. He worships himself.
Back in my college days (late 70s), there was a poster which read: “If someone accused you of being a Christian, would there be enough evidence to convict you?”
While I’m willing to let the Lord judge everyone’s salvation, there is the verse “By their fruit shall they be known.” Does forcing birth control on Christian campuses sound like the fruit of a committed Christian or a non-Christian poser?
No, "My muslim faith ...", note well.
He did not "correct himself". Snuffalapagus interjected, after some few seconds, "your Christian faith ..." with a questioning tone, and he distractedly repeated, "my Christian faith", deadpan and with a downbeat, like "whatever".
The Muslim question doesn’t keep cropping up, it never goes away, and that is Obama’s fault. Our effeminate king is obsessed with all things Muslim, just like he is obsessed with all things gay.
