7-10-12

Posted on 07/10/2012 7:43:20 AM PDT by icwhatudo

Please pray for a Maryland girl currently in surgery at Johns Hopkins. She is only 16 and has cancer. Things are not looking good and she and her family could really use some prayers. Thanks!

Thank you for the update, though it is not the outcome I prayed for. Blurry Screen here. Prayers for her family for strength, and that this loss will bring them closer to God.

Thank you for the update, not that it’s what any of us really wanted to hear. Still, there was clearly beauty in Sarah’s short life in that she had her love of Jesus, and now her family has that legacy of love to hold on to, Prayers for them all,

**. She died less than 24hrs after being baptized. Her family was not religious but sent her to Catholic school for a better education. She feel in love with Jesus and He has welcomed her home after a brief stay on this earth. Due to her father losing his job and the family already battling cancer, the local funeral home has waived all funeral expenses. Please keep her and her family in your prayers. I think this ordeal has brought the parents closer to God and that may be Sarah’s greatest gift.**

Praise God that she was baptized.

May her soul, and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

Sarah’s greatest gift.

She was here for a reason. She fulfilled it and is now with God.

Rejoice and hope that she is praying for those of us still here, that we may fulfill God’s plan ourselves.

With a heavy heart I have repeated my prayers for Sarah, as well as her family and friends. Cancer is a horrible monster that took my mother and grandmother.

Eternal rest, grant her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul rest in peace.

“I think this ordeal has brought the parents closer to God and that may be Sarah’s greatest gift.”

I agree. Praying for her family, too. May this bring them closer to Him.

Thank you for the sad update.

Prayers up for Sarah’s family. So glad she came to know the Lord before she went to meet Him.

And prayers sent for the operators of the funeral parlor for their generosity.

While this is not the outcome I had hoped for, I do not know God's plan for us. That Sarah came to know and love Jesus, and that love can bring her parents closer to God shows He has more in mind than what little we see.

May our Almighty Father bless all involved with His Peace and understanding, and may He welcome Sarah into His arms.

I am very sorry for the loss of Sarah in this world, but I am greatly relieved to hear of her baptism and of the bravery of her family through this terrible time. I have prayed and will continue to pray for the repose of Sarah’s soul and for God to someday soon unite Sarah and her whole family together with Him in Heaven forever.

Thank you for the update. I know we all were praying hard for a different outcome. Her life was too short. But it sounds like she was loved and that she passed peacefully. Rest in peace, Sarah. Prayers for her family and friends.
