Well, I guess since Jesus is the Son of God per the scriptures, and we become children of God when we are saved, it isn’t out of line to refer to Jesus as our brother. Just as it is not out of line to say Mary is the mother of Jesus. But we all know He is much, MUCH more than our brother or son of Mary.

You and I recognize that our ability to relate to Jesus as our “brother” is based upon our adoption via salvation, just as I could relate to you on the basis of being a fellow Christian. This is not the meaning mormonism places on the term in the same context. Mormonism’s definition is a literal, genetic brother having been ‘begotten’ by the same ‘father’ and that ontologically we have the same essence or the nature of being as Jesus.

These anti-Mormon threads started when Romney was running the first time. Don't pretend its a big coincidence you were suddenly "called" to denounce the horrors of Mormonism and it was completely independent of Romney's run. And then hide behind the Religion Forum ruse when you get called on your blatant dishonesty.
