The arrival of Hurricane Isaac exactly seven years after Hurricane Katrina blasted New Orleans has some people wondering if there’s more to it than random chance, and suggesting the popular homosexual festival Southern Decadence may be part of a judgment from God.

“A hurricane hitting a celebration of decadence … twice in seven years. What are the odds?” asks Robin Cox, a lifelong Gulf Coast resident.

“Does it seem God has it in for New Orleans?” adds Mary Starkey. “Just contemplating why this has happened twice in seven years at exact same time of year.”

The only coincidence I saw, was MSNBC predicting the hurricane would strike Tampa, perhaps because the RNC was being held there, and in the meantime, it heads for NOLA, to follow the Mississippi up towards Chicago to visit Barack’s homeboys.

Well, Dec 2012 is just a couple months away...maybe we’ll find out then.

I think 2012 will be a bigger flop than Y2K. The MAYAN calender does not stop just like ours.

Ya never know. If God really is mad at us, anything could happen, right?

There is chastisement and Judjement. Judgement is a country killer. We are experience chastisement. God loves us and wants us to repent and turn our face to him.

Doesn’t He already know if we are going to repent and turn our face to Him?

I can’t speak for God. There will be a huge Revival in this country either by our prayers or his Judgement.

Even if unwilling to accept an argument based on Providence, some may be willing to accept at least Karma.

I don't think there are too many Hindu, Jain, Buddhist or Sikh Freepers. So it's doubtful many here place trust in the idea of Karma.

Of course no one can. Many believe though, that God knows the future of each of us. Is that how you believe?

Who writes and believes this garbage? Even the article states that Katrina didn’t stop the gay party. It does fail to mention the 1800 deaths it caused and the incalculable damage and lives destroyed of perfectly innocent, bible believing Republican coastal residents.

This type of crap should be so offensive to the thousands of people who have been flooded out of their homes again, who don’t even know about this stupid festival in NOLA.

Do you enjoy worshipping such a vengeful deity who apparently has no problem killing 1800 people to send a message to the gays? A message which, quite apparently, didn’t work at all.
