I'm pretty sure that the "teachings of the Catholic faith" do not rest on "Ceasar's" generosity; i.e., the teachings do not depend on government to implement its actions. If the Catholic Church wants to put their beliefs into actions, do it through local appeals, not through government coercion. It's this dependency upon the government to implement "social justice" that brought us Obamacare. Look where that got the Church.
