What Ronald Reagan did was to thoughtfully take care of business while at the same time he got out of the people's way.

Neither of which BJ has any inclination to do.

"I am beginning to wonder what Barack Obama can do to support human flourishing in black communities when the prevailing pathologies destroying those neighborhoods, and the rest of America, are primarily moral in nature. The culture of death that sees an unborn child as a non-human, women birthing children out of the context of marriage, the black-on-black violence sending young black men to graves, the breakdown of the family, and so on, are all moral problems that politics cannot fix. '

Things he can do.

God hates child sacrifice. There was ONE time God did not forgive Israel and they were practicing child sacrifice. IT IS UNACCEPTABLE to Him and He will not forgive a nation for legalizing it. He did forgive Manasseh who repented, but not the nation of Judah. Reagan did not fix our shedding of innocent blood.

“However, the LORD did not turn from the fierceness of His great wrath with which His anger burned against Judah, because of all the provocations with which Manasseh had provoked Him. And the LORD said, “I will remove Judah also from My sight, as I have removed Israel. And I will cast off Jerusalem, this city which I have chosen, and the temple (house) of which I said, ‘My name shall be there’.”
“Surely at the command (mouth) of the LORD it came upon Judah, to remove them from His sight because of the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he had done, and also for the innocent blood which he shed, for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; AND THE LORD WOULD NOT FORGIVE.” (All caps mine) 2 Kings 23: 26 & 27 and 24: 3 & 4

He stayed out of most peoples way but he destroyed my family's business with a stroke of the pen when he deregulated the trucking industry. It helped the country as a whole but as with any legislation at the federal level there are always going to be some unintended consequences.
