FReepers, please indulge me. I just hung up the phone after speaking to my sister who is hospitalized with failing lungs for the second time in a month. She's on the other side of the country from me and I'm unable to comfort her as I wish I could.
I asked her if I could pray with her and she cried and said "yes, please!" I pulled out our Dad's WWII Daily Missal and read to her for a while.
I'm a firm believer in the power of prayer. Could some of you dear FReepers please say a prayer for my sister Peggy?
Prayers for you both. Asked the Holy Spirit to comfort your sister.
Praying for Peggy

prayers for you and your sister!
To all respondents... thank you very much! Your prayers have meant a great deal to Peg. She’s never been a FReeper before, and she isn’t someone who would spend her time on an internet forum, but she knows personal good wishes and prayers when she hears them... and yours have been spiritually and emotionally helpful. I just finished reading her the first 1/3rd of this thread. That was about all she could handle before the breathing troubles cut us short. We’ll do more tomorrow and more again the next day.
She asked that I extend her personal thanks and blessings in return. You were all a sincere and concrete comfort to her.
If I missed any names from up-thread I apologize. I tried to get everyone.
There you go. One day, one step at a time. God Answers Prayers.
God Bless Y’All & your family.
