In This Discussion, Jesus Contrasts and Compares our Relationship with God as to that of a Father and Son. Once again, the Family is the Model. He tells us that The Creator of the Universe has a deep, Father-Child relationship with us, which is a continuance of the relationship described by The Great Prophets Isaiah and Jeremiah, as well as the Psalmist.
The Judeo-Christian Concept of the Fatherhood of God is a marked contrast to the other religions of the times, which depicted either an angry, selfish deity who must be appeased, or as an earth-fertility symbol. Another contrast would be the centuries-later development of Islam, whose deity is inscrutable and unfeeling, and permits no other relationship other than submission.

And once again, you confirm in my heart what I spoke to GOD about today  I was thanking the LORD just this morning for the attributes He possesses in helping us be what HE has created us be in HIS IMAGE…as both Father and Mother… but in particular Matthew 23:37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, that killeth the prophets, and stoneth them that are sent unto her! how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! And Poverbs 8 1 Doth not wisdom call, and understanding put forth her voice? OH the GLORY of our GREAT GOD…. so that we may be taught…PERFECT AND WHOLE LOVE, PERFECT AND WHOLE UNITY, PERFECT AND WHOLE ONENESS, to LOVE and SERVE…eachother.
