Do sit in your basement and do nothing but post personal insults on forums and make up nonsense rather than actually reading the actual posts?

I haven’t told you to do anything, I don’t even know why you keep making post after post of none relevant posts to me.

It’s like the old peace sign from the ‘60s. a lot of Christians said it was an ancient Satanic emblem. I don’t know. I never wore it, or anything, because I disagreed with the sentiments it was being used to express.

In fact, I found them somewhat inspired by Satan, in any event.

But the point is, sin results from intent. If you are not intending anything pagan when you get the tattoo, then you are not honoring Sata, At least, this is my belief, and I hope the Lord agrees.

That being said, decorations should be able to be taken off when the mood passes. I can’t think of anything, including “Mama”, that I wish to put on my body and carry to the grave with me.

It is especially noticeable if one lives in an upscale region like the Southern California coast where smoking is pretty rare, and then visits an area of low education. Today, smoking is a habit that the poor and uneducated practice because they can’t help themselves, smoking is rare among the educated.

LOL! Oh Please. Even your boy Barry sneaks out back for a smoke. Of course you never said anything.......

<...”We don’t judge people by their outside, but by their inside”....>

Yes we do and usually every day and this without knowing the individuals. To say otherwise is not reality in the world we live.

How we dress what we wear, or don't wear for that matter, will always ‘reflect’ who we are to some degree. How we make that judgment initially often depends on if we will pursue engaging the individual..or not. We do the same thing with who we allow our children to "hang" with.....and should. Appearances aren't everything...but they do give a starting point.

When I said “we,” I meant Christians.

Why you are expending so much time and effort to personalize this and turn my posts into saying things that they don’t say?

You just quoted something that you could have challenged with facts if you had some, but instead you again try to personalize your input with some sort of truly bizarre nonsense.

“Smoking cigarettes is down to about 19% of people”

You’ll find that % increased for more than you realize if you count the “closet smokers” who because of the social implications now will not do so in public. They prefer now to smoke without being hassled by former smokers.

Additionally you are wrong to assume most want to quit....many enjoy smoking and for that reason choose not to quit.

Please understand your post. I highlighted it for you. You tried to explain that smoking was more prevalent when folks are poor.

I am telling you smoking can be a means of pleasure or a means of rebellion.

Get Smart.

I' as a Christian, definitely make judgement calls by appearances. This is an individual I would not be approaching without the Lord specifying so.....

I doubt that there are many people afraid to be known to a researcher or pollster as a smoker, or that many smokers are so indifferent to smoking or smoke so little that they succeed hiding it or want to hide it.

We know that people are interested in quitting because they admit it, and common sense supports the research, it is a rare smoker that wouldn't quit if there was a magic pill.

We all know why most smokers don't/can't quit, it is one reason that we see it as a weakness.

You seem to be one who understands things. Please share the information you have on Tobacco in America and explain how it was introduced to the masses and accepted as a way to relax.
