When it occurs, those Christians that are still alive will be immedialty changed, and given new, immortal bodies. You are correct, in that this old fleshly earthly body is worthless in the kingdom to come. To wit:

Have you ever read the book “Intercept UFO” by Renato Vesco? It covers 95% of what I promote. Best book I’ve ever read on UFOs. And I’ve read dozens.

Anyway... Most of the Bible is about conveying a CONCEPT. The details are there only to help the mind understand the concept.
There are many different versions of the Bible, and it is translated into most known languages. It would be impossible to insist on one literal translation because there isn't one literal source.
Which has never stopped anyone from doing so, and brings us back to square one.
The arrogance of man never fails to astound me. To try and reduce a TIMELESS G-d to a calendar that has changed time and again over millenia, to a 24 hour day and a sixty second minute is ridiculous on its face. The sun is not G-d so why do we we reduce G-d to our solar timezone in a universe which consists of an infinite number of galaxies not to mention the vastness of space that people think is empty but could not be more wrong?
The Book of Job CLEARLY states it will be the SONS OF G0D who come back to judge man. It also states in no uncertain terms that man was BORN KNOWING the answers to the final judgement and that his own right hand could save him.
You read words but do not understand them.
One of these questions was “Do you know how many children there are in the UNIVERSE?”
Not just here on this rock, but the entire universe. We don’t even know what our own planet holds and we live here, and yet we try to set OUR standards for an entire universe and every single speculation since time began has been wrong. The universe does NOT work like man expects it to and therein lies your answer. Expect nothing and expect everything. ..because no one knows the Mind of G-d.

But... we are going off topic... unless we discuss whether the Rapture is actually a description of Alien Masters who come back to Earth to take 100,000 humans as seed population for a new planet, and then destroy the Earth.

Now... if you are talking about debating the fine points of a book I have yet to read, then it means you are just limiting both of us to one theory, and I would be at a loss since I haven’t read the book.
I was more interested in your opinion of one of my theories, and hearing about your (and the author’s ) theory. Our theories could be miles apart, or next door neighbors. We will see.
