My Mom had a possible stroke, she told my sister that God is coming to get her
Prayers up, FRiend! You’ve had your share of it lately, haven’t you?
You all were fortunate. By the time my mom was found she had suffered a midline shift and one hemisphere was gone. Her body hung on for two more weeks.
Care ASAP is best for strokes.
Father God,
In Your infinite wisdom beyond human understanding,
Pour out Your mercy and Divine Healing on “Mom Bannon”
and infuse all her family, caregivers and friends with the peace that passes understanding.
May they be Your channels of the Spirit to Your beloved servant.

Prayers up. Stay strong, my FIL made a complete recovery from his stroke. No deficits at all. It can happen.

If your mother is having or had a stroke, confusion is quite common, some don’t know what has really happened or what part of the brain is involved. You have to spend time with those patients and explain why they cannot talk, or cannot move parts of their body. Pray also that she has great nurses taking care of her...

On a practical note, make inquiries about the hospitals in your area to find out if one is better than the others when it comes to stroke management. Some hospitals are particularly good when it comes to stroke care, and that can make all the difference in the world, as far as recovery and quality of life.

We have had some good moments over the past year with Mom and we see they are coming to a close now. It’s so difficult to watch and know there is not much you can do.
