Well put. I was thinking the same thing, that this was a fictional story from a creative mind. What that makes me wonder is, “Can a person come to the saving knowledge of Jesus through a lie?”

I think you've made your point. This rhetorical question is one which demands the answer, "No."

What others mean for evil, God can and has used for good.

It matters not how they come to believe, because if they truly believe then soon their eyes will open to the truth and see the lie of those who are wrong.

I know a gentleman who gave his life to Christ in a cult. Within a couple of Months he began questioning the things he was hearing. He looked into it and soon left the church and joined one that was biblical based.

Many have come to know God without learning the truth, but once they do, God begins speaking to them. God wants His children to follow Him, and will give them the tools and teachers to follow if they are truly born again.

That is because salvation is a heart thing. Not a building or denomination thing. God calls us all, but only His sheep hear His voice.
