You guys twist and turn to try and make him lot to be God.

The word "God" has three senses.

The first is as a name, which identifies an entity, an object or person.

The second is its use as a title, which refers to the function of that object or person.

The third is as a quality or substance of an object or person.

I believe that one of you is very confused as to the semantics of the word "God," and thus thinks others are confused when they use the word properly in a way he hasn't yet sorted out.

Let's compare this to a physical example, that of water, H2O:

(1) Liquid water = water = H2O

(2) Gaseous water = steam = H2O

(3) Solid water = ice = H2O

(4) Water is not steam; steam is not ice; ice is not water.

(5) Each entity has unique properties that are not interchangeable, their "titles" are different, their "names" are different, but all are of the same substance. All are forms of water.

(6) All may coexist at one unique time, temperature and pressure.

(7) In certain temperature/pressure regimes, any two may coexist, but the third may not be present.

(8) Under some conditions, all the water present must be in one form, where the other two are not permitted.

These are real, undebatable facts for a material substance that appears in three forms. But linguistically some of the terms are commonly (and sometimes confusedly) interchanged in written communications.

========

I think that the Creation provides examples of behavior and language describing it that can help us understand the Creator of it. It does so throughout, especially in Proverbs. I think it is possible to apply this kind of consideration to examine concepts of the Persons of the Godhead, particularly when name(s) is/are confused with title(s), or quality(ies) with either.

(1) The quality of Divinity defines the Nature or Substance of The God, that is, Elohim, a uniplural Hebrew term.

(2) The Name "God" is applied to that Person in Whom the Divinity, the Nature, the Substance of God is invested.

(3) God = Father = Divinity

(4) Jesus = Son = Divinity

(5) Spirit = Holy Spirit/Ghost = Divinity

(6) The Father is not The Son; The Son is not The Holy Spirit; and The Holy Spiit is not The Father; but all are titled God and bear the Nature, Substance, and Quality of Divinity, of God.

(7) Each Person has mutually designated appearances, tasks, and functions. Only The Father saves. Only Jesus became Incarnate, died on the Cross, was resurrected from the dead ones, ascended into The Heaven, and offered His Incorruptible Blood upon the Mercy Seat of The Holy of Holies in Heaven as Eternal High Priest to obtain reconciliation with The Father. Only The Holy Spirit has the task of drawing the attention of human critters and the Creation to The Lord of Lords, the King of Kings, Jeaus The Anointed One/Messsiah/Savior.

In the sense Jesus explained to His disciples, The Holy Ghost, another Comforter as the same kind as the Lord and Master Jesus Christ, could only be sent to sustain His Body, individually and corporately, after Jesus' Ascension. But all sre God in Person, Substance, and function.

(8) These Persons are also One and United in intent, design, execution, and empowerment to carry out their plan for restoring this Creation and bringing Glory, Honor, and Majesty to Their Persons and Existence for all to see and acknowledge.

========

Let's apply some maturity and common sense when discussing the nature of theology and its legitimate Persons, eh?

In John 1:1c, The Word (articular, a title of Jesus) is God (anarthrous, making it a nature or quality, not another Person or title of/in The Godhead). Jesus is God, Divinity.

For me, The Preincarnate Jesus is named Jehovah, has the titles of Son, Child; named Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, and is the Executor in function of Elohim/The God's Will. By preexisting agreement and division of functions.

It is He of Whom and about Whom the Holy Bible of Scriptures is written.

The purpose of the Bible is to communicate The God's plan for redeeming the Creation and His Children from the wreckage caused by the disobedience of Satan and our federal head, Adam.

The theme of the Bible is the Coming of The Messiah, The King, and His Kingdom of Righteousness and Peace, our Lord Jesus Christ.

Is He not God?

did you not read the very scriptures that Jesus himself spoke that prove he is not God? Nobody here can address them because they blow the apostasy out of the water. Period.
