No we can still love our kids, but not accept their behavior and they must suffer the consequences of their actions.

Just as all of us will face the Judgment of our Lord on our Faith and works (actions).

Revelation: Archangel Michael casts out the bad angels.
[12:1–14:20] This central section of Revelation portrays the power of evil, represented by a dragon, in opposition to God and his people. First, the dragon pursues the woman about to give birth, but her son is saved and “caught up to God and his throne” (Rev 12:5). Then Michael and his angels cast the dragon and his angels out of heaven (Rev 12:7–9

Two different scenarios...The first one is chastising the kids...The 2nd one is throwing them into outer darkness, forever...

If you are a child of God, he will chastise you for being a bad kid...He won't send you into an eternity of torture and pain...

Oh, and on that judgment thing for faith and works; Christians have been judged already...We have been deemed to be 'just'...When we stand before Jesus he will burn up any record of our bad works and we will be rewarded on our good works, if we have any...
