They ask “who am I to judge”. Right is it not for them to judge. God has already judged. To contradict Him is to make your own judgment. To submit to His pronouncement is nonjudgment.
Nothing happens without the explicit - or complicit - approval of the local bishop.
“Who am I to judge?”
How very open minded of them. When it comes to homosexualism or even pedophile priests...
“Who am I to judge?”
The leaders who affirm homosexual behavior and the leaders who fail to sanction them are probably themselves homosexuals. What else are we to think?
“Betrayals of Catholic principles never permitted under Cardinal Law”
Is the author serious? Law was buddy-buddy with every one of the worst architects of the culture of death! Ted Kennedy, anyone?
The Franciscans already judged by participating in the pride festival.
They should’ve stayed away — no need for them to be there.
They set a bad example.
I saw the picture of their booth and was very troubled. In my opinion, the Cardinal needs to have a fraternal discussion with those Franciscan’s Superior.
It is one thing to have a booth encouraging reconciliation and promoting the message of God’s love for us all, but it is totally different to imply homosexual acts are of no concern.
People are rightly outraged.
Minions of Satan.
12 What business is it of mine to judge those OUTSIDE the church? Are you not to judge those inside? 13 God will judge those outside. Expel the wicked person from among you.
IF they are proclaiming to be "Christian" you have full license to "judge" with the same judgment Christ would make. Christ's judgment was that of life! I am not to judge to sentence them to death. - I am judging those who are separating themselves from God through their acts of sinfulness and pointing them to reconciliation with Christ.
Wow. Aren’t these people supposed to be devoting themselves to the Word of God?
We are not to judge harshly. We are to love the sinner. We are to proclaim repentance and freedom in Christ. Not this squishy, “we don’t judge” garbage!
People who go around with pride stickers are really very much ashamed of themselves.
Christ was about humility and selflessness and sacrifice. Not pride, hedonism and narcissism.
I get tired of hearing this from so-called Christian. The answer to that question:
"You are not called to judge. You are called to make disciples. Are you doing that?"
