While this is not the first scientific proof of God, it is interesting.

Science principle, something cannot come from nothing, therefore the first 'something' whatever it was energy... matter.... ;had to be created by something eternal and intelligent - God. ........................................................

W.I.T. scientists, in conjunction with the Human Genome Project and Bob Jones University, have made what may be the most astounding discovery of this, or any generation. While working to understand and map the function of sequences of DNA in the human genome known as “Junk DNA” (for their lack of known function), scientists at W.I.T. noted that while the DNA sequences they were seeing bore little resemblance to the coding for biological function, they bore a striking similarity to the patterns of human language. Contacting and working closely with linguists and philologists from Bob Jones University, W.I.T. set out to analyze and decode the areas of Transposons and Retrotransposons which seemed indicative of human language.

Linguistic professors at Bob Jones University, long noted for its intellectual rigor, began to attempt to translate the decoded segments that W.I.T. was providing. The structure was notably and demonstrably human in nature. The coding language found, which utilized sequences of twenty-eight independent values, fell easily into the incidence range of known alphabets. Sequences of independent connected values likewise mirrored the structure of word composition in human languages. The Linguistic and Philology team at Bob Jones began an extensive comparison of the quizzical script found in the “Junk DNA” with the catalog of every recorded human language; hoping to find similar lingual threads so that they could begin to formulate translations of the message laying hidden in the DNA. Professors were rocked with sheer awe when they found that one existent language, and one language alone, was a direct translatable match for the sequential DNA strands.

The Language in the “Junk DNA”, the DNA that scientists had for years discarded as useless, was indistinguishable from ancient Aramaic. Even more amazingly, as linguists started to translate the code within the human genome, they found that parts of the script it contained were at times remarkably close in composition to verse found in the bible. And at times contained direct biblical quotes.

On the human gene PYGB, Phosporomylase Glycogen, a non-coding transposon, holds a linguistic sequence that translates as “At first break of day, God formed sky and land.” This bears a stunning similarity to Gen 1:1 “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” Gene Bmp3 has a Retrotransposon sequence which translates to the well-known 1 Cor 6:19 “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own.” This is repeated over and over throughout the entire sequence of human DNA: embedded equivalent genetic code of ancient Aramaic that seems to translate as the word of god to his people.

Matthew Boulder, chief linguist for the project and professor of applied creation sciences at Bob Jones University, issued this statement: “As for the evidence- it is there and it is, to my view, undeniable. The very word of God, elegantly weaved in and out of our very bodies and souls, as plain as day. And the beauty of it, that God would lay down the words of truth in our very beings, shows his love and The Miracle.”

Scientists at W.I.T. await replication of our own research extracting and sequencing “Junk” DNA and verification of translation into Aramaic by independent sources before we move forward on the peer review process and the release of our total research and discovery to date.

"While this is not the first scientific proof of God, it is interesting."

It would be the first, if it were proof, which it isn't.

Just go to youtube and watch a few gene slicing videos and you will know that God not only exists, but has designed a most amazing world and universe.

As many folks have said, the language of God is mathematics (and science, too).

“The heavens are telling of the glory of God;
And their expanse is declaring the work of His hands.

Day to day pours forth speech,
And night to night reveals knowledge.

There is no speech, nor are there words;
Their voice is not heard.

Their measuring line has gone out through all the earth,
And their utterances to the end of the world.”

Psalm 19:1-4

I don’t need anyone to tell me what is obvious.

This site claimes it’s satire, and that WIT is not a real place. Not sure, but I’d be highly skeptical.

There are many evidences of God, for those willing to reason. All of creation speaks of God.

This has nothing to do with the results of their research, which has to stand on its own merit.

But W.I.T is so “well known” that it does not even have its own page in Wikipedia.

From PATHEOS

Let’s play a game. It’s called: “How can we tell when something is satire?”

To begin with…

The Wyoming Institute of Technology isn’t a real place. (Don’t confuse it with the Wyoming Technical Institute, which is.)

The websites for most institutions of higher learning don’t have ads from Comedy Central in their sidebars.

Bob Jones University isn’t a place where credible scientists work.

If you click on the name of the author, Dr. Richter DasMeerungeheuer, it takes you to a URL with the name BryanS.

The article includes the line, “Linguistic professors at Bob Jones University, long noted for its intellectual rigor…,” so you know right there it’s a joke.

It goes on like this for a while. The writers basically took a page from the Answers in Genesis playbook: If you include a lot of big words and make it sound like actual science, gullible people will believe anything you say.

Which brings us back to your relatives on Facebook. I appreciate the satire and I hate breaking the spell… but I hope anyone who receives a link to this scientific “breakthrough” can write back and debunk it immediately.

Which Bible, i.e., translation? Pope Damasus I assembled the first list of books of the Bible at the Council of Rome in AD 382. He commissioned Saint Jerome to produce a reliable and consistent text by translating the original Greek and Hebrew texts into Latin. This translation became known as the Latin Vulgate Bible and in 1546 at the Council of Trent was declared by the Roman Catholic Church to be the only authentic and official Bible in the Latin Church.
The translation of the Bible into Latin marks the beginning of a parting of the ways between Western Latin-speaking Christianity and Eastern Christianity, which spoke Greek, Syriac, Coptic, Ethiopic, and other languages. The Bibles of the Eastern Churches vary considerably: the Ethiopic Orthodox canon includes 81 books and contains many apocalyptic texts, such as were found at Qumran and subsequently excluded from the Jewish canon. Since the Protestant Reformation, Bible translations for many languages have been made.

"Dear Ephesus" (Link), a Chrisian apologestics site, says this is a complete lie, and advises against having anything to do wiyh it.

"So, there’s this article floating around the internet that claims scientists have discovered the first evidence of God’s existence. (No need for you anymore, Romans 1…)

The article has been shared almost a quarter-million times on Facebook, where I first came across it. The title was intriguing, so I went ahead and clicked on it. But the more I read, the more things seemed fishy to me. By the time I finished I felt like I was as at a fisherman’s wharf.

Why? Because this article is obviously not real. It’s completely fake.

Let’s count the ways in which this article should raise some red flags:

It’s from the Wyoming Institute of Technology… which doesn’t actually exist. Don’t believe me? Go to their website and try to apply or even get a campus tour. Good luck!

It claims that a fictitious institute joined up with the Human Genome Project and Bob Jones University, but neither of these real institutions make the same claim.

Its author is Dr. Richter DasMeerungeheuer, which means Judge the Leviathan in German – not a real name.

It cites BJU professor Matthew Boulder as being part of the discovery who is about as real as Dr. Judge the Leviathan.

All this reminds us of one simple lesson – you can’t always trust everything you read on the internet, even if you want to.

It’s not bad apologetics, it’s fabricated apologetics.

Not only this, but it’s a false witness. Assuming the author of this article wants to promote faith in God through science, he or she is going about it in a very bad way. This article is worse than bad apologetics for the Christian faith.

Why? Because it’s not bad apologetics, it’s fabricated apologetics.

We are called to defend faith well and honestly. This article is a great example of what it means to bear false witness and misrepresent the very God that the author seems to be defending, which presupposes that God (not faith) needs defending in the first place.

I would say to chalk this article up to bad scholarship, but it doesn’t even deserve that.

It’s a complete lie.

I never expect there to be “scientific” proof of God.

God is beyond that.

What use is a God that could be put in a test tube and turn litmus paper blue?

By the way, back in the day when Dean Koontz wrote science fiction rather than horror, he wrote a story for Ace Doubles, in which God was confined in a cage by men for centuries. When he finally escaped, he had expended so much power trying to escape over the years that his captor simply stepped on him and squished him like a mouse.

I think it was called “fear that man”, based on the description on Amazon, but I could be mistaken.

Anyway, that’s the kind of God Who can be “scientifically proven’.

The book of Romans, Ch. 1 says

1)that what is know about God is evident within men, for God made it evident to them, v. 19.

2)that since the creation of the world God’s invisible
attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made,
SO THAT THEY ARE WITHOUT EXCUSE, v. 20.

The problem is that men have supressed the truth in unrighteousness and not honored God as God or given thanks, but instead have become futile in their speculations, resulting in their foolish hearts being darkened, v. 18, 21.

The results of this are described in Romans 1:24-32, like our world today.

3) And God has revealed His wrath from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, v. 18

Hebrews 1:2 says that God has spoken to us IN His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world.

So, God has given proof of Himself to man:
1) in creation
2) within man
3) in His Son
4) in His Word, the Bible

Those who don’t believe God He calls fools who profess to be wise, v. 22.

Wyoming Institute of Technology was formerly known as Wyoming Institute of Education and Nuclear Energy Research (WIENER). I think that about says it all.
