I will extol You, my God, O King; And I will bless Your name forever and ever. Every day I will bless You, And I will praise Your name forever and ever. Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; And His greatness is unsearchable.

I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy, for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ; just as it is right for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart, inasmuch as both in my chains and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you all are partakers with me of grace. For God is my witness, how greatly I long for you all with the affection of Jesus Christ.

Father God, as we read this letter by Paul and his affection for his partners, we who have our military men and women in our hearts identify with Paul. We are so grateful that knowing You and Your faithfulness to answer prayers according to Your will, we say with Paul, “We are confident of this very thing—that You who have begun a good work in them will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ”. It is right for us to think this of them because we have them in our heart and we know, by faith, that they are partakers with us of grace. We forever thank You for Your amazing grace, Sir. Yours is that amazing grace that will pursue and save each one, watching over and protecting them from the hands of the enemy.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we take authority over the spirit of homosexuality which is attempting to grow among our military and our Nation. You foul spirit, we bind You and loose you from your assignment against us. You must yield to the Name that is above all other names.

Holy are You, our God and worthy of praise. Thank You for giving us that name in which to pray and do Kingdom business—Jesus, the Christ. Amen.
