Those players can play their positions. And the man of faith, while being an upright individual, was a less-than-mediocre quarterback.
Tebow was criticized for his lack of talent, nothing more. When it comes to religious faith, nobody was more open about his beliefs or more willing to credit God for his success than was Kurt Warner. Nobody hassled him, nobody criticized him for his faith, all for one simple reason - he was a termendous quarterback. Tebow is not. That's why Warner spent 11 years in the NFL and Tebow will be lucky to start for the LA Kiss.
And the Jets' offensive line didnt help any quarterback demonstrate talent.

Tebow was correctly criticized as a poor passer - but was also criticized for kneeling in prayer on the field ("Tebowing") ... which I don't recall Warner doing (at least, not as rgularly).
