In addition...not much of a change to her condition....the doctors performed an EEG this morning...results will be back tomorrow...that will likley be telling in what to expect when they wake her...supposedly the breathing tube comes out today as well.

Posting on FR was a good decision. I needed help a few weeks ago and the thread was an amazing, God-led lifesaver for me.

Please know so many are praying for your family's strength. We share in your heartache and tears. Circumstances may be different....but crying and praying for our children is a common denominator.

Tomorrow is a big day for us....Amanda will have her breathing and feeding tubes removed....and we get the results back from the EEG....

Late this evening Amanda opened her eyes when I was talking to her....she responded by moving her fingers and toes when asked....I hope I was not imagining it....she looked terrified....her last memories were laying down after taking the drug....I tried to reassure her that everything was alright and she should close her eyes and try to sleep...again....I think she did....

What I am finding that is amazing is how people from my past....who I have not talked with for decades.....have stepped up to help....one person in particular....a sober living alcoholic...has seen to it that we have been surrounded by those of strong faith to assist us....from clergy who have prayed over our daughter before we arrived....to others.... who will be counseling us come Monday...

God is good...and is with us....reminding us that we are not alone....as we remind Amanda that neither is she...We are not out of the woods...but hope exists again this evening...

Today has not been good....Amanda has a condition caused acidosis....it is not responding to treatment....it is potentially deadly....

Multiple tests are being run...to understand the cause....so a treatment can be determined....

Please pray for God's healing grace.....

Today they have stabilized most of the issues.....what remains is the her cognitive abilities....there looks to be some degree of brain issues....to what degree the physicians are unsure...we won’t know until she wakes up.

They are hoping to start the waking procss late tomorrow or Tuesday.

We have been praying over her and talking to her constantly....asking for the Lord to intercede and heal her.

I never have felt such love for my child, it is as if my insides are being poured out....and my soul is being ruptured....

I have to have the faith that God’s love is unimaginably stronger.....and He would not have saved her if there was not a reason for such....

So please keep praying for the Lords healing power to bestowed upon Amanda....

Thank you, Lord, for continuing Your presence and strength to be poured out to those who yearn for Your touch. Praise to You, Lord. Amen.
