Where in the Bible does it say that we are to believe nothing that is not taught explicitly in the Bible?

It doesn’t that I know of but why would any one need any thing else if they believed what the bible says?

If a person says: “I believe ONLY what the Bible says; everything else is man-made doctrine” he is contradicting himself, because the doctrine that the Bible teaches EVERYTHING that a Christian needs to believe is not in the Bible, and is therefore a man-made doctrine.
