Pope Francis, "If Mary is not your Mother, you are an orphan!"
Charisma News ^ | 9/5/2014 | Jennifer LeClaire

Pope Francis has been a breath of fresh air for many Catholics seeking greater liberty and a growing concern for conservative Christians who take issue with his comments about homosexuality and other cultural issues.

But the pontiff's latest statement is sparking an uproar from believers around the world. Pope Francis sent a tweet Tuesday that absolutely violates the truth of Scripture:

"The Christian who does not feel that the Virgin Mary is his or her mother is an orphan," Pope Francis tweeted.

As of the time I wrote this column it had been retweeted about 4,000 times and many of the responses were in appropriately unkind. It's not appropriate to attack the pope for his beliefs. It's more appropriate to share the truth...

Wow! I had not seen that one before. It seems to never end. The Catholic pagan roots do indeed run deep.

Simply put Protestantism and the fruits of that movement have weakened us. The relativistic nature of Protestantism has left us unequipped to deal with the threat of Islamic conquest. It presents no coherent theology or moral standing with which to combat the Muslims.

Why are you trying to combat the Muslims when you've claimed there are worse threats? As you posted earlier on this thread, "protestantism is the existential threat, not Islam. Islam just kills the body. Protestantism kills the spirit."

Mary softens the hearts of angry people. And then she guides them to her Son. ♥

It stunns me that Catholics don’t see the paganism.

a P with crossed feathers (a 666 symbol also used in freemasonry)

It's a Chi-Rho, or X-P, the first two letters in the Greek spelling of Christ, one of the earliest Christian symbols.

I googled, "Chi Rho crossed feathers" and didn't come up with anything.

...”Mary softens the hearts of angry people. And then she guides them to her Son”....

If that were true then there would be no wars and everyone would be a Christian. But of course it’s not true.....Mary has no powers here nor from heaven. These are given to one and one only.

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying,...” ALL power is given unto me in heaven and in earth”...Matthew 28:18

Ephesians 1:21...reminds us that Jesus is far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and “EVERY NAME that is invoked”,.... not only in the present age but also in the one to come.

Romans 14:9 tells us.....”For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living.”

1 Corinthians 15:27 further states......”For he “has put everything under his feet.”

and again....”Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is ‘above every name’Phil. 2:9

They sound like the Jews when they demanded God give them a king. The Saviour isn’t enough for them. They also want a goddess to worship.

I found one short sentence but could not find the reason. It is about a peacock losing its feathers. ????

Not every angry person asks for Mary's intercession. If EVERYONE prayed the rosary, for instance, Christ would grant us peace.

And there would be an end to abortion.

Where do you get this stuff? I am shocked that anyone actually believes this rubbish. The statue of St. Peter is attributed to late 13th-century sculptor Arnolfo di Cambio. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arnolfo_di_Cambio No time to comment more at the time.
