Would that start up the Crusades again? Probably not.

A crusade? No. An angry response by a number of Catholics? Probably.

And he was recruited by the KGB’s Bulgarian field office.

What worries me is that I’m not sure how good the security is around this Pope. He loves to get out there like an ordinary guy, and take chances.

These freaks want to kick off a great holy war, I guess they figure Allah has their back. Initially I thought it was a dumb idea to behead innocent westerners, with American apathy they could have carved up a nice slice of that pie for themselves without resistance. Rile up the American public and the might of the US military will get involved. So why would they do that? Because ISIS is betting the farm on their boy, I do believe they sincerely think God is on their side. If true, these people are not just dangerous, they’re reckless, the type that would unleash highly contagious absolutely fatal pathogens on the world “knowing” only the “infidels” will suffer.

I understand your frustration and it is justified but I work with some great teens here in SoCal. I’m talking about the ones that come back and volunteer to help after confirmation. Help with leading small groups, prayer sessions and anything else that is needed. They have a strong spirit and are not afraid to express their faith in public. They still need and want help in how to communicate their beliefs to the world. There is fight and steel in them (I am ex military). I have hope and will continue to support them. God bless

Many prayers for Pope Francis.
I heard ISIS say on Fox that the purpose behind their violence is to start up WWIII, to get rid of most of the population, so they can start up a world of their own.
But they're not factoring prayer into the picture. JPII said years ago to someone I know personally who told the great pope he DID, in fact, pray, "But you have to pray mooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrre."
