We know; but there just might be some mis/un informed lurkers here that are not so close minded.
They'll surely look at ALL the evidence before making a judgment call.
Great job! Thank you for posting that.
Jesus never chatted with Devil. The Devil tempted Jesus and Jesus rejected his temptations. There’s a difference.
“No free will; eh?”
I didn’t choose his name. I chose their names. Free will.
“Don’t you KNOW that a tree is known by it’s FRUIT?”
Absolutely, and that’s why I know they are just men and not the Church.
“Did I demand that you show...”
Did I say you did?
“First you say you didn’t choose name; and now you do.”
No. I said, “I didn’t choose [HIS = Lenin’s] name.” I did not type out a whole sentence. I make typos like everyone else.
“It’s no wonder you are having trouble getting a clear stream of thought going here.”
I’ve never had a problem have clear thoughts. I occasionally have problems typing them however.
1) Did you exchange wedding vows in public, or before family members? Thats from pagans.
2) Bride in white? Thats from pagans.
3) Wedding bouquet? Thats from pagans.
4) Honeymoon? Thats from pagans.
5) Maid of honor? Thats from pagans.
6) Groomsmen? Thats from pagans.
“And yet here you are; babbling away on FreeRepublic...”
1) I’ve never babbled.
2) Defending the Christian faith is a Christian thing. Perhaps that’s why you don’t do it.
“Where is the finger chopping off part?”
Probably in your kitchen.
“We know; but there just might be some mis/un informed lurkers here that are not so close minded.”
I’m not closed minded. I’m just experienced with anti-Catholics on FR. The “throw-everything-in-including-the-kitchen-sink” approach or the “I-have-no-idea-what-I’m-talking-about-but-I-have-to-keep-attacking-the-Catholic-Church” approach just make no sense to me.
Way back when, I used to take every word a Protestant anti-Catholic said to me very seriously and dealt with every single word posted to me. Over time, however, I realized that even the Protestant anti-Catholics didn’t take what they posted seriously. That’s why they resorted to the tactic that I probably can’t name. You can see an example of me catching one at it and forcing him to admit on my profile page (and that has happened more than once).
“They’ll surely look at ALL the evidence before making a judgment call.”
Maybe they will. Maybe they won’t. Judging by the private emails I get, they’re always learning about how little anti-Catholics now and to what tactics they will stoop.
None of those are incorporated into serving God so it’s simply a draw man to even bring them up. Appears a little desperate after having been shown the Catholic Church admits to incorporating paganism in their “service to God”.
You keep making evasive comments. Here are the questions yet again.
1) Did you exchange wedding vows in public, or before family members? Thats from pagans.
2) Bride in white? Thats from pagans.
3) Wedding bouquet? Thats from pagans.
4) Honeymoon? Thats from pagans.
5) Maid of honor? Thats from pagans.
6) Groomsmen? Thats from pagans.
You didn't see yourself right there in the middling portions?
That was for you.
Altogether it was of more import than the defensiveness displayed in the "Luther chatted up the devil" type of misrepresentation of things which you engaged in -- done after accusing Elsie of "making things up" concerning a list of evil popes having taken their orders from the devil.
The brief notes of what those popes were noted for provide grounds for extrapolating they were much in the thrall of Satan.
****> “The last official Spanish execution for heresy was in 1826, when a schoolmaster was hanged for substituting Praise be to God for Ave Maria in school prayers. The limpieza de sangre statutes remained valid (though increasingly unenforceable) until 1865.
History of Christianity Paul Johnson p. 308****
Telling, isn’t it?
anyone who pays attention would have noticed years ago.
Didn’t think you’d actually get an answer to that.
The Catholic church and leaders in it actually admit to incorporating pagan practices and yet here FRoman Catholics adamantly deny what is blindingly obvious.
I guess they’re not as well catechized as they like to brag on, esp. when non- Catholics know more about what their church teaches than they do.
Wow. A pope encouraging idolatry in worshiping and image.
