The placing of catholicism's mary 'in a crescent' is a remnant of the fertility cults of the ancient mother-goddess,... traceable to the Babylonian queen, 'Semiramis', who was titled "Mother of God" and "Queen of Heaven."

Mary, or a female figure representing the Roman Church, holds a lightning bolt in her hand in precisely the same way as it is carried by chief dieties in the pagan mysteries.

Ah yes! Semiramis the wife of the infamous Nimrod! God had much to say about her as the “queen of heaven”. She was supposedly assumed into heaven also if I remember correctly.

Well, caww, you got those two pictures, not from a Catholic Church, but, rather, from a web site called "mindserpent.com", which looks like it is dedicated to a dead guy named "Neville Goddard", who used to be some kind of New Age / New Thought guru in Los Angeles, who carefully studied the "Kabbalah" for his inspiration.

Are you planning on posting any dead pictures of "New-Age Neville"?
