(9) How do they dress?
Some of them wear red berets.

By saying “no comment” , you’ve made a comment any ways. So you might as well tell up what you think. I pretty much have it figured out already.

Seriously, though I get the impression that you disagree with the contents of the article, and enough to post “no comment” when you could have simply moved on to another article. It’s by inference, but you cared enough to post that you don’t care, which is a contradiction. which means you do have an opinion on the subject, just not one you feel comfortable with posting. Now, as to the reason you feel uncomfortable is because you disagree with the poster of the article, just not enough to confront them about it.

Well.. re the subject of guardian angels, I’d like to hear the opinions of those Assyrian Christians in Iraq. I suspect they’re feeling rather abandoned at present.

When my two sons were 9 and 10 the younger awoke in the night and saw an angel sitting on his brothers bed. He told us in the morning he had seen his brothers guardian angel. Years later when our oldest was sent to Iraq and Afghanistan his brother would remind me that he knew an angel protected his brother. After returning from a 3rd tour and finding his wife had left him and taken the children out of state he turned to alcohol. On his darkest day he had a gun to his head and felt someone physically force his hand away from his head.
I am convinced that was his angel. He reached out to family, is home and doing well. God has made provisions for his children.

Okay, that’s a valid opinion, I can see where you’re coming from. I don’t know that I agree, but I can certainly respect your views.

Many times before when in extreme danger of death, I always called my guardian angel, "Ho! Tou Aggelou!" [`ο του αγγέλου] [MY ANGEL!] You wouldn`t believe what happened even if I told you.

Thanks. I should’ve just bypassed the thread completely. It’s just that having seen pics of murdered children of Christians over there, I’m getting a rather skeptical viewpoint on the idea of “guardian angels.”

I didn’t realize Greek is the angelic language! Wait until the Italians hear this!

As an idea, it is endearing to consider. Scripture is more nebulous than this glossy article presents.

No problem. I think I can understand your scepticism with all the evil that seems to be all around. I hope you find some peace about this issue, I really do.
Take care.

I thought the angelic language was gaelic? That’s what Enya taught me.
