We have two faculties as Christians: Faith and Reason. Not mutually exclusive faculties but Faith begins where Reason ends. One cannot reason their way to God. It requires an Act of Faith. Because Faith extends beyond reason it is by definition a mystery. It cannot be fully explained in any traditional empirical sense. So for one to say there is no mystery (or mysteries) to their faith is in error. That all (including the Dogma of the Blessed Trinity) is accepted literally "as a matter of fact" is to deny Faith.
Which is why it is so disingenuous and hypocritical for someone, especially a self-professed Christian to claim that Catholics hide behind their "mysteries of faith". Protestants accepting of the Trinity because it is "true" is not an act of faith.
You’re getting a C- this semester! Just for rudely interrupting the benediction.
I believe it because of my faith in the Word of God. His word is faithful and true. I think some of y’all are grasping at straws.
The distinct difference is that true followers of Christ put their faith in Him alone and Catholics put their faith in fallible men who even they admit are not infallible.
But we accept that the book you compiled is mainly true.
Is THAT not 'faith'?
