Revolt is coming.
That is why Americans have been buying arms and ammo in record numbers.
This will lead to revolt down the road.
.....Or rather planting the seeds of a future revolt.
This is why there will be a need to re-evengelize.
The persecution of Catholics and Christians may even come sooner than that.
I suspect the timing will be such that,
just as Christians on that verge of making the decision to fight back,
the Trumpet will sound.
This is why I predict a revolt down the road.
Way before the trumphet will, my prediction will come true, mark my words.

The USSR sent people off to camps or they disappeared. I am not really disagreeing with you in so much as I am defining terms. What is being called persecution now is nothing like what could be coming. Right now we are still free to b!tch and moan.

Students and most adults have no clue what communism is and how evil it is - always.
It’s a shame. Although I get into it here because I don’t have anything against same sex marriage (I’m a libertarian, I think marriage should be a church/religious thing and/or between the two people involved with mutual consent with no government involvement), if one should disagree with it, their decision and conscience should be respect and not be bullied. If a pastor does not want to marry a couple for whatever reason and/or a baker not make a cake, then their wishes should be respected. There is always another who will do so, let all ideas work themselves out in the free marker of free minds. It is a shame that we are facing persecution here. No one should be bullied or persecuted, be they Jewish, Christian, gay, atheist or otherwise. Even if we disagree, we should still respect each other and their wishes and still get along. I see the rancor from all sides although most of it seems to come from the left.
But it is not a church/religious thing, it wasn't for the pilgrims and puritans who first settled this country from Europe. Man-woman marriage is a civil necessity for the maintenance of civilization. It is the very bedrock of civilization.
Attempting to shove it into the walls of a church is ridiculous. It existed long before Christianity and civil marriage was the result of centuries of hard work by ancient jews who saw it for it was: Necessary!
It civilized the human race like nothing else.
It is not just some religious affectation.
