I don’t think that one-liners slamming Joel Osteen and inviting all comers to do the same shows a great concern for the lost.
But I can walk with those that I have disagreements with and still call them ‘brother’. Hopefully, both guys like ‘Gamecock’ and ‘Joel Osteen’.
Let me be clearer as I don’t see a shade of different denominations.. they all have a core faith and that faith is at its core, greco roman latin..
Jesus is a greco roman latin counterfeit of the Messiah of Israel created by the greco roman latin papacy..
The name Jesus can be explained away with two witnesses of scripture in newer translations (acts 7:45 and Hebrews 4:8)
And the papacy holy days of December 25, good Friday and easter Sunday are not days in scripture,
They too are counterfeits of real appointed times our Heavenly Father gave as shadows and rehearsals to the King and Kingdom, found in scripture.
So, what exactly is different from the pope or Joel osteen or billy Graham’s of the world at their core?
They have the same greco roman latin savior and consider the papacy’s holy days as real worship days.. they work and worship on a calendar named for a pope so they all are more alike than different.
Now times and laws were prophesied to be changed and the Messiah himself said pseudo messiahs and pseudo prophets would come..
And there is one today...and christendom worships him.. the greco roman latin papacy version..with his own holy days..
If the Truth was studied and people would prove all things, the papacy version would be exposed for a lie and a fable of the genuine.
And that has implications for all Christians..
If the English name ,Joshua, was the name used in the 900 times that Jesus was used in the new testament like it was in the old testament, it wouldn’t change one truth of scripture..
If the unbiblical December 25, good Friday and easter were scrapped for the actual days found in scripture when that Joshua fulfilled, it wouldn’t change one piece of scripture Truth.
But it would mess up the religion of Christianity and expose the liars and false prophets (and prophetesses like the Catholic church’s Mary)
as frauds and vessels for the enemy..
Times and laws have all changed and Rome’s fingerprints are everywhere.. they have done much damage to Yah’s Truth.. even to the point of turning the Messiah of Israel into some greco roman latinized savior..
People are welcome to stand on their foundation.. it is the only thing people learned and grew up with..people tend not to question the ‘givens’ of the world.
If the papacy is exactly what the first reformers thought it was, the spirit of the Antichrist (instead of or in place of, not to mention the ‘against’ part) then I am not sure how much of their story I would want to buy..
And Christendom isn’t going to change its savior’s name or the savior’s holy days just because they can be shown to be counterfeits or ‘in place’ ofs. they will dig in because it goes to the heart of the religion..
People will dig in with the pope.or come out of it. Each believer’s choice..
I don’t have any problem clumping Islam or Judaism in mystery babylon either.. they also have their hands full of abominations. Those two religions also tend to look to the papacy to tell time in our day..
Praise Yah there is freedom from this world system.. and it is found in Him..
Or the world can call today goddess Friya’s day and/or Halloween.

Got some questions to help me understand, not for trickery:
1. Are you a believer in and follower of the person known also as Jesus of Nazareth? It’s unclear from your post whether you accept that person or deny him as the Messiah promised to Israel in the law and by the prophets.
2. I hear what you are saying about days and times and popes and other such stuff. Do you believe still in circumcision of the flesh for all true followers of Messiah?
Also...
3. Do you accept the New Testament as truth, as a reliable recording of factual history?
A bunch of friends from church have long since abandoned ‘Easter’ for ‘Passover’. But to complete the switch to lunar calendars and non-greco/roman/latin/babylonian names is hard...and very inconvenient... We are trying to take baby steps...
Why go backwards to what was pointing forward to Jesus?

The New Testament was written in Greek the common language of the time. The Holy Spirit knew what He was doing when He inspired the apostles in that language. To second guess the Holy Spirit or consider Him in error is not wise.
A couple of decades ago, my wife and I told our children that we could pretend like there’s a Santa Claus, but that they were going to get the exact same number of total presents either way. They said they saw enough of Santa Claus as it was and so we watched some funny movies starring someone dressed as Santa Claus
So, instead of doing Santa, they and my wife constructed an Advent banner with all the individual pieces held on by Velcro and one item added each day with my reading of a related Bible story and giving the reason for each piece...on through the season.
Did that for many Christmas celebrations of the birth of Jesus. Still have the banner.
Somewhere along the line, a son observed that, since the shepherds were tending their flocks by night, it must have been warmer weather than usually it is in late December in Israel. My daughter offered the opinion the birth of Jesus may have been during the Sign of Leo (Lion of Judah), but she wandered away from the astrology angle after giving it more thought. I still wonder if there might have been something there.

Passover points to Jesus.
Now that Jesus has come Passover is akin to driving by looking exclusively in your rear-view mirror.
