Pope Francis himself has reiterated this on several occasions. But many are not listening.
Many understand that talk is cheap, and are scrutinizing his actions as well as his words.
The only one I know of is the assembly of believers, the body of Christ, led by only Christ Himself and guided by the Holy Spirit.
Then why did Pope Francis propose Holy Communion for adulterers on his plane trip back from his Rio World Yute Day?
Why did Francis choose Kasper to preach in favor of the same heresy?
>>I would like to thank him, because I found a deep theology, and serene thoughts in theology. It is nice to read serene theology. It did me well and I had an idea, and excuse me if I embarrass Your Eminence, but the idea is: this is called doing theology while kneeling. Thank you. Thank you.<<
Since when is condoning mortal sin doing “theology while kneeling”? They have lost the faith.
So you have DIY religion. Good for you.
Why did Francis phone an adulteress and advise her to sneak around and find another church where she could receive Holy Communion while in a state of mortal sin?
Following scripture alone is DIY?? Trusting Jesus alone rather than some fallible man is DIY?? Any religion that has a carnal man as head is a cult.
You can interpret the bible any way you want. Very convenient.
Would you please show where I said that?
About the problem of Communion to those persons in a second union, that the divorced might participate in Communion, there is no problem. When they are in a second union, they can't. [My note: that's about as plain as you can get, isn't it?] I believe that it is necessary to keep this within the entirety of pastoral care of marriage. And for this it is a problem. But also... a parenthesis, the Orthodox have a different praxis. They follow the theology of economy, as they called it, and they give a second chance, they allow it. But I believe that this problem, and I close the parenthesis, must be studied in the framework of marriage pastoral ministry. And for this, two things: first, one of the themes to be consulted with the eight of this council of cardinals, with whom we'll be meeting the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of October, is how to move ahead in the pastoral care of marriage, and this problem will come up there. And, a second thing, the secretary of the Synod of Bishops was with me 15 days ago for the theme of the next Synod. It was an anthropological theme, but speaking and speaking again, coming and going, we have seen this anthropological theme, the faith, how it helps the planning of the person, but in the family, and going then on to the pastoral care of marriage. We are on the path for a more profound pastoral care of marriage. And, this is a problem for all, because there are so many, right? For instance, I'll tell you of just one, Cardinal Quarracino, (9) my predecessor, said that for him half of all marriages are null. That's what he said. Why? Because they are married without maturity, they get married without realizing that it's for an entire lifetime, or they are married because socially they must get married. And in this also pastoral care of marriage is a factor. And also the judicial problem of the nullity of marriage, that must be revisited, because the ecclesiastical courts aren't enough for this. It is complex, the problem of the pastoral care of marriage. Thank you. |
Rhetorically speaking.
And whether intentional or not, that's how it's turning out.
Thus, his evil Sin-Nod.
But Francis holds Kasper in his highest esteem. If Kasper hangs, Francis hangs.
YOu are so quick to condemn the pope that you would lambaste him on the basis of thirdhand hearsay? The exact contents of which neither the wife nor the pope confirmed?
Where is your care for --- if not charity --- then at least bare-bones due process? Where is your common sense in the weighing of evidence? Where is your concern for just judgment?
I hate to keep harping on Rash Judgment - Detraction - Slander, those three allied and deadly sins of the tongue (and keyboard), but there you are.
THis is rash judgment and evil innuendo. Take care.
I wonder if Cardinal Burke was referencing the Sensus Fidei when he said that.
Why don’t we study sodomy next?
Take care.
Wake up!
Are you praying for Pope Francis? He can deliver a coup de grace after Kasper has fully exposed himself --- which Kasper is clearly proud and incautious enough to do.
I'll close here. I have an important bowl of potato soup to attend to.
Soup and sodomy just don’t mix. Enjoy your “meal”.
