The tail of the devil is functioning in the disintegration of the Catholic world. The darkness of Satan has entered and spread throughout the Catholic Church even to its summit. Apostasy, the loss of the faith, is spreading throughout the world and into the highest levels within the Church.

—Pope Paul VI, October 13, 1977

I am prolonging the time of mercy for the sake of [sinners]…. While there is still time, let them have recourse to the fount of My mercy… He who refuses to pass through the door of My mercy must pass through the door of My justice.

—Diary of St Faustina, 1160, 848, 1146

It’s difficult to live in these times; thank God adoration chapels are still plentiful in many areas (for the time being anyway). http://adorationrocks.com

Amen to the adoration info.

I’m sure Mark means well, but he promotes Medjugorje and is accusatory towards those who question Pope Francis’ words/actions/agenda. Therefore I have to take much of his stuff with a big grain or salt.

I did not know Mark promoted Medjugorje. That’s discouraging. It’s a wonder a Catholic can get anything straight with even the good guys believing in apparitions that haven’t been proven yet.

“Suddenly, the words popped into my mind:

The number of Gentiles is nearly filled.

THE MARKING OF SOULS

I repeat again that I sense an urgency for us to seriously repent and return to God. In the last week, this has intensified. It is a sense of separation occurring in the world, and again, tied to the notion that the willing souls are being set apart. I wish to restate a specific word impressed on my heart in Part I:

The Lord is sifting, the divisions are growing, and souls are being marked as to whom they serve.”

He writes as though he imagines himself to possess prophetic powers.

This was written in 2006. What documents are you speaking of?

In case you’re wondering what Pope Paul VI was referring to, read the book “AA-1025”.

Has Medjugorje been discredited?

I’m sure he means well but his attacks could equally apply to Cardinal Burke.

I am more disturbed by statements like:

Wealthy nations consume beyond their needs as thousands die daily from starvation.

It has not been discredited, except by the local bishop, because the visions are still going on.

Why? Its true. Our biggest health crises here are all due to over-consumption, primarily of carbs, in one form or another.

I've been on mission trips to Haiti, just 2 hours flight from our shores, and I've seen starving babies there. Even our "poor" here live like kings and queens compared to many in third world countries.

In every other supposed Marian apparition, its the local bishop who makes the call on its authenticity. The local bishops have made the call on Medjugorje, its been discredited, but people ignore the local bishops.

Good analysis here:

Yes, thank you! I believe you may have posted this for me at another time too. Good information. :) At the adoration chapel we attend, there’s quite a bit of positive Medj stuff about. I’ve thrown a few things away. It’s really troubling. We should bring it up with the pastor.

While I do not dispute what you say, the author’s statement implies that somehow the consumption of resources in a developed country deprives the poor in underdeveloped nations such as Haiti. Like we are taking food out of their mouths.

The primary obstacle to good living for the inhabitants of Haiti and most poor countries actually the government corruption in those countries. The US has poured billions upon billions into that hellhole, and where has it gone?

So, I am aware of the obvious sins of this age and it involves all ten of the commandments. It’s the gray areas of life that will catch many off guard. This is a tricky age.

I ask God to forgive me for being stupid, too. Often I don’t even realize, until the benefit of hindsight, that I messed up. One thing is for sure. I will be messing up to one degree or another, in my own hind sight and in His sight.

I believe Jesus when he named God merciful. He knows the conditions His people are up against. He knows the intentions and condition of our hearts. That is the only hope I have...I’m such a mess from His point of view. I hope He has mercy on all Christians...even liberal ones. It’s a fine line to walk being tender hearted yet not bled to death and sucker punched by evil.

Actually, its our consumption of third world resources that causes problems in the third world. Read up on National Security Study Memorandum 200 ("NSSM 200") if you're not familiar with the US national security policy of controlling third world population growth to maintain cheap US access to strategic reserves in third world nations.
