See my post 43.
I am not sure what you mean. I have known the difference between Jesus being born of the Virgin Marry and the Immaculate Conception of Mary since I was 8 years old.
“Let’s stay with scripture.”
If you mean fling all the rest of God’s blessings and communications back in His face, no thank you.
“...that means that Mary has to handle approximately 139 ‘requests’ per second! “
That sounds like George Carlin imitating a wise-guy teenager in catechism class.
God and His Heaven are not bound by time.
“Interesting...”
More interesting still if one understands the argument.
“If you believe you can support this opinion of yours with any facts, evidence or logic, please do.”
It is demonstrated by the personal experiences of many, many people, including myself.
It is demonstrated by the experiences of the 70,000 who witnessed the Miracle of the Sun at Fatima.
It is demonstrated by the experiences of those who witnessed the burbling forth of the spring at Lourdes.
It is demonstrated by about a metric ton of other experiences stretching back millennia, enough to justify a new wing to the library.
However, you have not examined any significant part of this evidence, and I predict that you will not.
As a body of evidence, these experiences are more than compelling.
“Until then, the syncretic history of the Roman denomination stands as Exibit A of my claim about a Living Constitution.
Exhibit A fails to constitute a prima facie case. It shows only that you know next to nothing about that which you revile.
“Who’s stating that?”
I am.
According to the protestant dogmata that have been asserted here, I should be entitled to claim the assistance of the Holy Spirit in discerning that fact.
However, I do not make that claim. My assertion was born of long research, contemplation, and prayer. I am morally certain of its truth, not least because that is the way that God has created the Universe and its laws, physical and moral.
“How sweet...”
But not as sweet as you.
“You seem to pull these comparisons from all sorts of locations.”
The ability to examine and compare many disparate things is handy for those trying to discern the truth of a matter.

Satan’s finest work!
Reinforced by strong delusion, sent by the Father.

"The ability to examine and compare many disparate things is handy for those trying to discern the truth of a matter pull the wool over everyone's eyes.

Personal experiences arre great. Every pagan religion can claim them. Whirling dervishes whirl for a reason.
It is not surprising that as syncretism entered Catholicism,, doctrines had to justify the practices and new beliefs.
Now..in regards to your sole reliance on experiences to justify belief... Are you giving equal weight to the experiences of hundreds of millions of Protestant Christians...?
When will you be starting your thread to discuss this?
Best
Well, thanks for admitting that’s what you believe about grace.
It’s wrong, though.
If you knew Scripture, you’d have it right like the rest of the non-Catholics around here.
Should I get the popecorn ready?
I can live without a beautiful day.
What I want is a wonderful Forever!
So far; so good!
Read what I type; not what I don't.
Your preconceived ideas about what my chosen denomination 'teaches' may cloud your ability to deal with what I write here.
Have I been posting my 'feelings'?
I really try hard NOT to do that.
The printed words from Rome and the Book they gave us is MORE than adequate to illustrate the problems here.
Even in the absense of FACTS?
If you ever (and many are praying that you will) get to the point where your doubts cause you too much trouble; remember that Jesus said that He'd never leave us or forsake us.
Hebrews 13:5
