Ping!
They go to heaven regardless.
So...there’s T-rex in heaven??
Ugh. Here we go again.
Now the truth comes out?
Wow. I fell for it, hook, line and sinker. The thought of validating the belief of seeing ‘my old pals’ in heaven was irresistible. Some will continue to say This Pope said it, regardless of this article, because the idea is so very appealing and comforting to most animal lovers.
Jesus’ first worshippers around the manger were the animals there. Why wouldn’t these innocent creatures go to Heaven?
My dogs get in or it’s no deal.
So non-Catholics pets go to hell with their owners? That’ll go over well.
But, Shirley, God let’s his children have pets.
Well, I’m glad that’s straightened out. It was an embarrassment to think he said it...
Well, what does the Bible say regarding animals in Heaven?
Romans 8
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. 18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. 20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, 21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. 23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
According to the Word of God...Your dog, cat, hamster, canary, etc., is in Heaven.
There are a lot of lazy, stupid journalists out there, and some of the laziest and stupidest work the religion beat.
My question to all Christians is this -
Exactly who will reside on the NEW earth?
Where did the notion originate from that all faithful Christians will go to heaven?
Isaiah 11:6 says this -
International Standard Version
“The wolf will live with the lamb; the leopard will lie down with the young goat. The calf and the lion will graze together, and a little child will lead them.
I don’t believe there has been a period in the history of the world where this has occurred, so it must fortell the future.
Now, check out Isaiah 65:20 - 21
20”No longer will there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, Or an old man who does not live out his days; For the youth will die at the age of one hundred And the one who does not reach the age of one hundred Will be thought accursed. 21”They will build houses and inhabit them; They will also plant vineyards and eat their fruit. 22”They will not build and another inhabit, They will not plant and another eat; For as the lifetime of a tree, so will be the days of My people, And My chosen ones will wear out the work of their hands.
The preceding verses come after Isaiah 65:17, which references creation of a new heavens and a new earth.
Isaiah 65:22 must also fortell the future since it is not referring to homebuilders, but those who have been judged as righteous.
Not sure how anyone could think animals could go to heaven after reading Isaiah 11:6

But bring your tin foil hat...and your lunch...it is long, but so very very interesting..!
I am unaware of anything that says pets/animals will be available to us in Heaven. God made us in His image and requires us to acknowledge Him in order to get on the reservation list. Being God, He can do anything so we really don’t know. Since Heaven will be so great that we really won’t miss our pets (won’t even be married to a person we stayed married to for all our adult years on Earth), I really don’t see why there’s all the flap.
