LOL, there you go again. How wonderfully, and beautifully Christlike. So, you are not interested in my opinions, interpretations and protests? Then I have to ask, why do respond? I think that many of us live in your head. 😄😄😃 So you speak from faith, and I don't? Now you read minds too? That's some talent you have there. You say you don't interpret scripture? Let me think about for a second. OK, I thought about it. Yes you do, and you admitted that you need a priest to interpret scripture, but you try to tell what it means. This is not consistent, and in order to be taken seriously, you must be consistent. You can give me Bible verses, and that is fine, but do not add one single solitary word of commentary, because that is interpretation, and you admitted you are not allowed to do that. Hope to see you at the pearly gates. Have a blessed day sir. I guarantee you I will. 😄
Hey. Today is the 6th birthday of my younger great granddaughter. We are going out tomorrow to celebrate her bd and mine which is tomorrow. We will have a great time. I think we will go to our favorite Mexican restaurant. We have been going there since the late 60’s. We do not go there too much anymore. It was my late husband’s and my late daughter’s favorite place. God bless.
Because others might read what I write. In fact, you seem to read me as well. It is a good thing.
you admitted that you need a priest to interpret scripture
Well, I don't remember that. Most likely I did not want to address every detail of your post. Catholics in general, priests and laity, do not interpret the Holy Scripture: they instead teach it as it is and explain difficult parts. That is the Church produced the Holy Scripture in the first place under the dictation of the Holy Ghost; just like you would not say that Mark Twain "interprets" Tome Sawyers's Adventures, so you cannot say that the Church "interprets" passages of the scripture that came from her bosom.
