Of course they are still around even though they ignore what God said. So are other pagans who started back in Babylon. The oldest religions that are still widely practiced are Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, and Jainism. Then there is pantheism, Zoroastrianism, and Confucianism. If it's the oldest religion that you believe is right you should convert to one of any of those.
It's interesting to note that your MAGIsterium has it's origins in Zoroastrianism. So maybe unbeknownst to you Catholicism is simply part of Zoroastrianism which would make it one of the oldest. It's probably why the Catholic Church removed the name of Clement of Alexandria who curses the magi for their “impious” rites and rituals from it’s list of Roman Martyrology?

"I am the way, the Truth and the life, nobody comes to the Father accept thru the Son"... so... if "they" are seeking God thru any other way...(Mary, Saints, Rituals, Icons, Priests, Pope's , dead corpses and body parts, what ever) "they" are not practicing Christianity but something else. Tacking on Christ;s name does not make it acceptable nor Christian. Jesus again teaches that He is the only "intersession"...which takes you back to square one #1.... ..."who are "they" following"... Scripture or the teaching of the church of it's leadership? Like all false religions catholicism follows their pattern...
