My point is that these postings that, as you can clearly see, just devolve into the same people spouting the same stuff at each other over and over again and it does nothing to persuade anyone of anything. This thread has devolved into the typical thread this kind of posting always devolves into. And it does nothing to further anything or change anyone’s mind when it devolves and degrades into a verbal slap-fest.
Of course we are all on one side of the trench or another. But these posts do nothing to get anyone over to the other side of the trench. The same people just keep arguing about the same points again and again without positive effect.
And we only lasted 16 hours into the New Year until the flame war got kicked up again on this topic.
I understand what you’re saying, but when we see something false posted, it is incumbent upon us to get the reality out there for those that do not post.
Way back when we had our personal email posted at the bottom of the post, I used to get quite a number of replies by that venue, asking for more.

The people who benefit here are those that are still learning, that they may look at the facts and arguments and get closer to the truth, that they may be saved from wrong thinking........................
Again, remember our Founding Fathers thrived on public debate and would have it no other way.
