Father God, we come before Your throne today with thanksgiving and enter into Your courts with praise for the awesome wonder of Your grace and the power and faithfulness of Your Word. You told us: “You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed you [I have planted you], that you might go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit may be lasting [that it may remain, abide], so that whatever you ask the Father in My Name [as presenting all that I AM], He may give it to you.”

And so, we are here by Your Spirit to bear fruit! We present before You, Father, all that Jesus, the I AM, is.

Jesus prayed: “I do not ask that You will take them out of the world, but that You will keep and protect them from the evil one”. (John 17:5) Agreeing with His prayer, we ask You to keep and protect each member of Your body serving in the Armed Forces and in our houses of Government. We particularly pray for those serving in the Government that they would be protected from the voice of the enemy and that they would only follow the voice of the Good Shepherd.

We pray that Your Holy Spirit would strengthen and reinforc with mighty power in the inner man by the [Holy] Spirit [Himself indwelling their innermost being and personality]. May Christ through their faith dwell in their hearts! May they be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love, That they may have the power and be strong to apprehend and grasp with all the saints [God’s devoted people, the experience of that love] what is the breadth and length and height and depth [of it]; May they come to know [practically, through experience for themselves the love of Christ, which far surpasses [f]mere knowledge [without experience]; that they may be filled ]unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and]become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]!

In this, they will spread the knowledge of You and bring Your Word to the hurting in our Nation.
