>>Making up stuff Jesus DIDN'T SAY<<

Luke 22:19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance (anamnésis) of me.

Greek anamnésis - Definition: a recalling, remembrance, memory.

The post I was responding to contained words that Jesus DIDN’T SAY. You are not making any point by quoting words that Jesus did say.

That is NOT the meaning of anamnesis.

“Anamnesis” has to do with GOD’s recalling, which is an infinitely more substantial reality than the function of the human brain we call “memory.”

“Anamnesis” involves GOD’s “remembering” the Passover, or the Exodus, or the Covenant, or the death of Jesus. It does NOT refer to mere human remembering.
