Any American church that accepts tax free status has agreed to not speak out against government evil.
Hulen Street Church (on south Hulen.
Baptist, but not overtly so.
If you want less Baptist, MacKinney Bible or Christ Chapel, although both of those a fairly large.
Sorry, I missed the contemporary music notation.
Try Worth Baptist Church. No guitars, very Bible based, but not filled with just old folks (my adult kids are members there).
Try the Catholic Church - you know they believe in it since it wrote the table of contents.
Check out the Wisconsin Synod. www.wels.net and go to the “WELS locator” at the top right hand side. There are two or three congregations in Fort Worth and looks like one in Arlington.
My son and family attend Hope Church http://hopechurch.com/
Fort Worth - Lakeland Baptist Church 3551 Cindy Dr. Fort Worth, Texas 76111 817-838-8830 Karl R. Ogdie/Pastor
In all fairness, there are a bunch of different Bibles, all of which have different levels of clarity. So while embracing a Bible is good, embracing Biblical scholarship is better, because it focuses less on the words than the meaning of the words.
The most satisfying of churches embraces the spirit, the emotions, the intellect, and the physicality of life. To dwell too much on just one of these aspects, which is easy to do, leaves congregants wanting.
If you are willing to overcome your preoccupation with avoiding all things in Rome, you will find the Catholic Church offers everything else you have just asked for. If you look at the actual teachings of the Church, offered freely through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults(RCIA) program at anyone of the 66 parishes in the Ft Worth area (yahoo link below gives the list). You do not have to be committed to entering the Church to enroll or learn about the Church. — Bring your best arguments and objections to the instructors. If nothing else, you will come away with a clearer understanding of the teachings of the Church.
find a Calvary Chapel!!! You’ll learn more here than any church you could go to. They go through the Bible verse by verse, chapter by chapter and book by book
Gordon C. Olson or C. Gordon Olson? I don’t know either but got both names when I googled Gordon C. Olson.
and G.C. has his own facebook fan page?
I’m pleased with the Mosaic (nondenominational) church - it started in Texas and may have some branches near you.
Hopefully this is the right cornerstone. We go to the brothers church in Granbury.

Try the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod, NO affiliation to the ELCA. Check out their “What We Believe”, I think you might find this to fit your qualifications.
I was a member in 2 in the Fort Worth areas for a short period, completely bible based no frills and usually considered small (especially for Texas sized mega church).
I am currently a member in the WELS in Montana and consider it to be my family.
Is it required by Baptists that you have to attend a church?
Brown Trail church of Christ. Very good congregation. Every place has hypocrites, but the vast majority of people there are really trying to follow scripture.
Here you go: http://stmarythevirgin.org/
Watermark has a satellite that meets in Fort Worth. Check out the teaching online to see if you like what they say. We have visited several times when in the area and the sermons are apologetically Biblical even if not verse by verse. Before you go you can check them out to see if they fit your grocery list or enough of your requirements. They sing old hymns of the faith as well as newer music. We have been to huge churches that play original songs....not a fan. God will direct you. Changing churches is very hard. Be careful in your frustration and disappointment that you do not get into a dogmatic legalistic religious system that seems solid in the beginning.
