The rest of us are going to Hell. Except the Muslims. You and the Muzzies have fun spending eternity together.

Huh? (I'm going to heaven? That's a surprise!) My point in my earlier post is simply that at least according to my best plain reading of what was quoted from that catechism, there's no requirement given there to be a "card-carrying member."

You’re an interesting character! Hope your lapse is resolved in a renewal in Him alone...the Director.

It’s interesting to note that Muslims are killed because THEY CREATE HAVOC IN THE WORLD, not, as they fancy, for their beliefs because their beliefs are fantasies devised by Satan, having no basis in revealed truth. They are not binding, except to the self-deceived.

Yet these children of the devil endlessly kill Christians and Jews because JESUS is Truth, they are not, and they refuse to submit to the righteousness that is by faith. They’re angry and full of the Lie, just like their father.

That said I would love to see them come to Christ!

A. All are bound to belong to the Church, and he who knows the Church to be the true Church and remains out of it cannot be saved.

That is quite a statement isn't it ??? LOL... So Muslims and Buddhists and Hindus can be saved..ahhhh put the protestants are cursed to hell because they believe that THEIR faith in Christ saves them..not Rome ...interesting LOL

Yup. I ‘get’ the Director. Don’t quite know how or why he does things. I am a non matriculated student of the Universe. I am auditing Infinity 101.

It’s not really any different than what Ann Barnhardt wrote a little while back.

I just want to call your attention to the fact that your “So...” is more or less a hallucination. It certainly has no logical connection with the italicized quote, or with anything else taught by the Catholic Church.

Do you really hope to change minds with your years-long torrent of deranged venom? HAVE you ever changed any minds?

I’m not worried about it. I left that cult when I was 25. Thirty two years ago.

Fortunately the Word has a different take on this.

John 3:14-18

As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up; 15so that whoever believes will in Him have eternal life.

16“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

17“For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.

18“He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

You have ignored the many times that the Church, in Magisterial declarations, has said that only those who KNOW that the Catholic Church is the true Church founded by Jesus Christ, yet refuse to join it, “cannot be saved.”

Or we could just read the Bible and get the clear meaning of how to be saved.

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16

IIRC, you've several times posted the incorrect claim that Vatican II said Catholics and Muslims worship "the same god".

CCC 841, quoting the Dogmatic Constitution on the Church, Lumen Gentium 16, from Vatican II, declared: The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind’s judge on the last day.

http://www.catholic.com/blog/tim-staples/do-muslims-worship-the-same-god-catholics-do

Next question, please.

Oh, yea, then there’s (paraphrasing)

Unless you eat the flesh and drink the blood of the Son of Man you shall have not life within you.

Whose sins you shall forgive they shall be forgiven and whose sins you shall retain they are retained.

You are rock and upon this rock I shall build My church.

Thus, is not to believe in Him to also obey him as a demonstration of that same belief?

There is none of the above without the traditional pristhood and the traditional Holy Catholic Church.

Or, we could just read the Bible and note how Jesus breathed on the apostles, saying, “Receive the Holy Spirit. Whose sins you shall forgive, they are forgiven them. Whose sins you shall retain, they are retained.” John 20:23

Hmmm. How can the apostles DECIDE which sins to forgive and which sins to retain?

Why—it is self-evident that people need to TELL them what their sins are, and whether they repent.

Funny. Jesus gave the apostles the power to forgive sins. It’s right there in St. John’s gospel. Yet some people DENY that Jesus handed over the power to forgive sins to any human. They say that “it is not necessary to tell our sins to a man.” I guess some people JUST DON’T BELIEVE WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS.

Ummm I think Trent address the damnation of Protestants ..would you like the quotes ?

Rome however makes an exception for pagans.. like Catholics they can earn heaven by being "good " people
