Are you a Jew hater like Martin Luther?
Really? Martin Luther was an ordained clergyman in the Catholic church. He was a Catholic.
To: RnMomof7
Look now? How many "literate" RC's read their bible ?? Even the "practicing" usually only hear it read to them ...in their native language WOW, it must have taken you years to interview enough Catholics to validate your research.....or you just make up things as you go along as usual...

You have no historical evidence of these non-denominational Christians, “the ekklesia of Christ” - for well over a thousand years?

FRoman Catholics have a habit of referring to every non-Catholic posting here as a "protestant". Of course that is wrong...some postings could come from Jewish readers, or Hindus, even Mormans....however, all postings here by non-Catholic CHRISTIANS are by protestants.

Nearly 2,000 years.
As you were informed during our first exchange...
WE'RE HERE STILL. The Body of Christ is STILL here.
That counts as some sort of proof by virtue of residency and/or occupancy.

Discuss the issues all you want but do not make it personal.
Mind reading is a form of making it personal.
To: terycarl
Of course, you misread my post and inserted the word “Only” in front of my post, changing its meaning entirely.
Disingenuous.

Damn...all I got was used Bingo cards....
I’m in the wrong sect.

Im in the wrong sect.
The Catholic church is divided into sects?
To: RnMomof7
But just like today..how many practicing RC's rewad the scriptures ?? Those that go to church have snippets read to them ..thats about it I don't know the percentage....maybe 90-95???
I'm sure that you have irrefutable data to counter that.... Mass is not only very thorough when it comes to scripture reading (We wrote it you know) but we also have the Eucharist which you have chosen to reject....sad!!

Actually Jews have admitted that Muslims profess they follow the God of Abraham. That doesnt mean they believe it, but they have no problem acknowledging thats what Muslims profess. So the Catholics on this site were correct and the prots were....well we all know

What would be the reason? Give credit to some man? We have the testimony of scripture. The very words of God. Many are scattered throughout the different "denominations" and meet with them. Some meet in homes. My daughter just go back from Guatemala where they met under the trees. God knows His own. The glory goes to God, not some organization.

Surely, you wouldn’t compare the pre-eminent Lutheran scholar of his times, historian, author and teacher who not only converted to Catholicism but became a catholic priest to the “scholars you reference.

Calling my beliefs a cult and calling me a pegan is also “making it personal”....n’est-ce pas?

The Body of Christ is STILL here. The Body of Christ yes, some non-denominational ekklesia of Christ that "has been consistent since the time of Christ" ...? And one whose theology is the same as yours, down through history?
That can be claimed, but: No evidence, no history.. The *real* Christians left no trace?
WE'RE HERE STILL.
Sola Scriptura protestants have been here since Luther; but, I don't think you can find your non-denominational ekklesia even that late.

You are slipping. You just said Catholics wrote the Holy Bible, unless you were referring to graffiti scribbled on a wall as "scripture".

You get judged at the moment of death. Nope, not at death. Now.
Review any literature of anyone that has had a near death experience.
Nope again. I'll read Scripture and take what Jesus has to say about it over what anyone who may have had demonically inspired NDE's has to say.
John 5:24 Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.
If you consider them more of an authority than Scripture, then that explains a LOT.

Very ISIS of you.
When can I expect the head hunters to show up?

Catholics claim to drink the blood of the new covenant and clearly don’t even understand what the new covenant is or that Christians are under it.
