I will give him that he is a staunch supported of Israel. These books that these Evangelicals crank out, are like some new fad bible verse or idea for the year or two. And when you ask them if they think that what they cite in the past are a model for predicting the future they back right down.

Case in point is this guy Johnathan Cahn and his Shemitah books. he clearly says in his own book after pointing out what he thinks about a correlation in the data regarding gains and crashes in the Stock market (which by the way are spurious correlations in the data that do not precisely fit), he says that his work cannot be used to predict what will happen in 2015. 2015 is a Shemitah year right? But no one will place their bets that a calamity will occur. And don't get me started on his idea that the United States entered into a sort-of-a covenant because they dedicated the nation to God in the beginning. Not one verse in the Bible says that any other nation (other than Israel) has a covenant with God.

For the record I am a Bible believing Christian, I believe that God has divine plan that cannot be defeated, and I believe that we should spread the gospel as best we can in the meantime. But these folks on TBN are questionable for the most part.

The prosperity gospel heresy is dug in to the Evangelicals like an Alabama tick.
