Protopresbyter Thomas Hopko, Dean Emeritus of Saint Vladimirs Orthodox Theological Seminary, Crestwood, NY, and noted Orthodox Christian priest, theologian, preacher, and speaker, fell asleep in the Lord on the afternoon of March 18, 2015.

It took a lot of patience, because as an Evangelical Protestant, much of it just didn't make sense, yet seemed as if it should. Thank God I was patient enough, but it took a little more than six months of study to work through it, and now...it seems crazy, but there was really no barrier at any time, at all. I believe the same things. Nothing has changed.
I simply am more aware of my own church's very long history, and the lives of the saints.
RIP.
