Well, then I guess they should not mind their bigotry being identified. Does it hurt their feelings? Does such obnoxious prejudice seem sacred to them? I suppose if they’re feeling ridiculed they shouldn’t be involved in “open” RF debate. Or do you think it’s a good idea for FreeRepublic to look like an anti-Catholic, insular website? I don’t.
I’d never mock another person’s faith, and I don’t like that it’s become a part of this website.

Posting personal opinions is allowed, even if controversial.
Posting a statement starting with “You’re definitely...” is making a statement as fact, not opinion and is personal.

I'm not all too familiar with this sort of dedication. There's a response in post #215--which I mention not in order to use it as my answer (or to agree with it) but simply to say that someone else, who's presumably more experienced and more aligned with this type of prayer, has given an answer within a line of thought and devotion that has a readier answer for this sort of thing.
My line of thought is simply that I don't see "one mediator" as the best argument against "praying to the saints"; in my view, it would "prove" too much if used in this fashion, and there are more substantial challenges regarding such prayer.
Let me get this straight:
“I think you’re out of your mind” is okay but “You’re out of your mind” isn’t? IS that correct? Because if it is I have a list that needs posting.
Yes, there those who have been trying to get this thread locked. There must be something different about this thread that deserves re-examination. The truth must have been spoken and an RC must have heard it.

Basically, that is correct.
But if you go on a spamming spree and post that phrase to poster after poster with your “list that needs posting,” it will be considered detrimental to the issues of the threads.
It’s best to discuss the issues instead of just making a personal point disguised as a question.
If you think a poster(s) is “out of his/her mind” it is best to just ignore them.
